  1. I know but i just wanting to point out that Nasri is a lesbian.... now that the world is at piece with this breaking news i can sleep like a baby
  2. I wish i was 'poor' and directly involved in 3 of the 4 goals
  3. On the right one would presume also the reason Dos Santos does'nt look that great at club level because he hardly plays its hard to look good when your restricted to the game time of akin to that of a 16 year old kid.

Aye, good player, not sure the EPL is his type of league though, i think he's too slow tbh. Cabaye isnt exactly rapid tbf and he isnt the only midfielder i can say this about.... Nope, but he's also a lot more combative and agressive in his play. And from what i've seen Cabaye is quicker the first few yards, and plays the ball with a higher tempo. I dont know much about Elm but pace wont be a great problem if his movement is top class and passing is decent. Silva and Fabregas are fine examples of this..... i would'nt say either of them are combative or aggressive or particularly quick but thier movement and football brain are brilliant.... Not saying he would be anywhere near them but if his movement off the ball and passing is accurate and precise then being slow wont matter too much. I'll look out for him at the WC anyway as i know very little. No need to come up with "solutions" why he (Elm) won't find it hard to adapt to the English Premier League... if you don't know what kind of player he is. Instead, as you said, take a look at him in the Euros ...he and Anders Svensson will fight for the central midfield role beside Kim Källström. I was'nt tbh, i was more debating the fact that being slow does'nt mean any midfielder ( not just Elm) wont be a success.
  5. What a goal from Dos Santos 1-0 Mexico..... not sure he meant it mind ( why is he not even on Spurs bench btw )
  6. Might be wrong here but think it might be because its the 'hipster' thing to do Anyway i agree i think he will do well.... as i type Damiao scores but given offside. Edit: just seen a replay no way was that offside lol. Oscar looks really promising.... passing is like a laser..... be interesting to see if he and Ganso can operate in the same midfield.
  7. Another look at the 'New' Brazil but this time against Mexico should be a decent test. Before they face the Argies.
  8. Agreed, i think Adams was better as well but he didnt play for England much and i was assuming the debate was about for England. Only the 66 caps. Sorry my brain is a bit on the slide atm, it seems i have come up with a massive fail here I must have been thinking of someone else, not quite sure who though.... in any case yeah Adams is better i can go with that

  10. Depends what you consider 'astonishing' ? i wouldn't be surprised at all if we get 5m mainly because the media have hyped him a bit calling him a unsung hero and keep mentioning the fact he has most goal line clearances etc etc.... Some idiotic run of the mill club will pay that IMO.
  11. That was more due to thinking he was a midfielder and taken too many touches a lot like our very own Colo in any case i was comparing the two players in their primes and Ferdinand hardly ever did that in his prime. Stand by it, in their respective primes Rio's positioning was superior. Not that it matters anyway.
  12. Sol was definitely not better positionally tbh...... the rest is probably true but Rio was no scrub in the air himself and the stronger and quicker part means very little becaus Sol relied upon it due to being out of position more often.... In Rio's prime his positioning was immaculate.
  13. Dont underestimate the stupidity of some clubs in this country i mean Spurs paid 8m for Hutton ffs
  14. Yeah i got confused, i edited my post now.
  15. Such idiocy. It is not a maths equation. All four players are more effective and consistent in their position than Ferdinand is in his own. Rio's career at the top level is rapidly ending and he should plan accordingly. England's best centreback now and into the future is Cahill, imo. Gerrard has been disgustingly bad all season. There was some stat about three quarters through the season that they'd only won 8% of the games he started, which was probably just his usual top drawer showing against us at Anfield. He was utterly bossed by f*ckin Guthrie in the 2-0 game ffs Gerrard has been bad for a while not just this season. Been living off his CL final success like Liverpool as a club for a very long time.
  16. Agreed, i think he's right what he said but theres no reason to do it and it will distract the camp and cause issues.

Rio's career at the top level is rapidly ending and he should plan accordingly. England's best centreback now and into the future is Cahill, imo. Well it is a maths equation because Woy questioned Rio's capacity to play 3 games in a week and i dont agree Gerrard and Terry are more consistent and effective. Also if Cahill is our best CB we have serious problems i rate Lescott among others a lot higher.
  18. While its completely unecessary and ill-timed he's got a point.... theres no footballing reason for those players to go and Ferdinand not to.... Anyway its clearly to do with Terry and Rio getting along and he chose Terry.
  19. Given Llambias's comments about him I doubt that could ever happen Same, just throwing it out there..... would'nt be a bad back up if wages were sensible and falls in line with the rest of the team ethos.
