Every time we've played West Brom he's made Tiote look average. In same Mulumbu that got absolutely destroyed time and time again in the 3-1 this season? and the same Tiote that has bossed some of the best midfields in the league? I'll have what your drinking please Mulumbu is an average midtable b2b mid his types are littered all over France and they would'nt cost the silly money West Brom want.... Now if you wanted to pay 12 million for Dembele id understand it but for Mulumbu? no chance. He was one of their best players that game too. No all it says is Pardew came up with a game plan to make him look shat and it worked..... a DM whose job to protect the defence and he failed miserably that game..... How many times did we get at thier defence that game? even if you ignore the goals completely? like 10 probably. No matter what you say no sane individual can make a case for Mulumbu being better than Tiote ffs I think taking any one game in isolation is potentially misleading. I am aware of that, why i argued it in the first place.... I dont mean disrespect Mulumbu as a player as he's clearly a decent player but i dont feel he's good enough to pay the type of money WBA would want which is why i'd like us to look elsewhere and i have not seen anything from him to say he would be better than Tiote as a DM.

Yeah i dont mind him coming as long as the fee is sensible ( 5m or less) i just dont think worth the silly money talked about.... i would rather Diame over him if we are going to spend that sort of money and use the money on improving other areas. Anyway it just shows how great it is having someone like Cabaye who is equally good in the defensive third as he is in the attacking third... it allows us to be flexible when looking at potential midfield targets.

7.5m for Cabaye and Tiote

I would prefer us to go for Diame instead of Mulumbu Why? Mulumbu is far better defensively. I get the feeling its because Mulumbu would be quite expensive ( probably too expensive considering) and Diame is probably a more complete footballer and he would be available for nothing.

Cabaye's versatility is why we get to choose lol, Buy a more defensive midfielder to go alongside Tiote and free Cabaye up or keep Cabaye next to Tiote and buy a more a attacking midfielder.... Either way i expect one of the midfield 3 to get a few goals next season and as pointed out with Ben Arfa getting a full season under his belt should get into double figures.

If anyone deserves to be dropped it should be Mexes but Blanc wont do that because he has a good understanding with Rami and have a very good defensive record with Mexes-Rami and the fact Mexes has a f*ck-tonne more experience than both Koscielny and Rami and more of a leader. If Ben Arfa impresses because the majority of that team will play against England then that will probably be the team against England except Rami coming in for Koscielny.

Tbf tho even though Tribalfootball are a load of shit.... i do find the " Pardew thinks we are too reliant on Cisse and Ba and wants goals from midfield" interesting and iam pretty sure i heard Pardew mention something similar before. I doubt we would sign someone like Mulumbu and a attacking midfielder so it will be interesting to see what type of midfielder we will get as iam pretty certain we will sign someone in that position iam just clueless as to what type of midfielder.
