They're a horrible team to watch and a nothing club. horrible to watch ? thats cack. In your opinion it is. I don't enjoy that rubbish and thankfully we'll probably have to endure it another two times before they're back where they belong. what don't you enjoy about possession football and movement ? if i were a nuetral i'd rather watch swansea then much of what we played this season. Enjoy your Scott Parker football, it's f***ing s**** to watch and gets you f*** all in terms on impact in games. yet teams best results tend to come when they dominate possession and it's what YOU wanted when you were crying about hoofball. There's a difference between more passing on the deck and attacking with speed and technique and being direct which is what we all wanted its pleasing on the eye and its effective. Possession football ( atleast the Swansea version) is boring as hell and i would personally never want to see us playing it. Possession in the final third is what matters not passing backwards and sideways in the back 4 ....... Under Keegan we played some fantastic stuff and we never resorted to passing backwards and sideways more than whats needed which i personally always wanted to see ball on the deck but direct. This 70% s*** but hardly create any chances is personally not for me and i cant believe anyone here would want to see it. lol come on lets get real lets not make out like swansea fires blank every game judging by how they played in this one game they saw of them. ofcourse we thought they were boring because we weren't allowed to see our own team string 3 passes together. Not really i find possession football boring unless you have direct players to provide something different ( like Messi at Barca)....... and when i say possession football i mean pass to a stand still..... passing it backwards and sideways just to keep the ball. For the record i have watched Swansea on quite a few times this season and cant say watching them excites me. As already mentioned much rather see football on the deck but direct with your passes and trying to force the issue. Instead of keeping the ball to stop the opposition from scoring like Swansea do. i prefer that method of defending though if our team is ahead, rather than backs to the wall job and being ran ragged by the opposition. at least it takes a lot less energy out of your own team. Yh i accept that and thats fine and i actually would encourage that in the scenario you describe but Swansea do it from the first second to the last.......

Oh ffs iam learning iam actually from London and supported Toon since i was 4 ( dont ask why) and no one brings it up down here I'll try to remember for now on

Toss up between today and against the mancs for me, he was great in the 3-0 aswell pretty much had Nani in his pocket showed more attacking threat that night too. It seems he puts in good defensive performance when he knows he has to, just a matter of getting those performances consistently while taking little if nothing at all away from his attacking game.

I hate watching teams that pass sideways and backwards all game long, its basically saying our defence isnt good enough so lets keep the ball to make up for it. Much prefer to see passing, flowing football but actually taking risks with the ball and trying to open the opponent up than just endless backwards and sideways passing. It works for Swansea so fair nuf i just hate to see you were negative and Swansea " with a free flowing attacking displaying" when their style is as defensive as it gets. They just do it with the ball instead of without it. Put it this way, i never want to see us play like that.

Yes i will copy my quote from earlier....... Unfortunatly the whole world have been poisoned by Barca and Spain to think possession means all but quite frankly what you do with that possession in the final third is what matters...... Everyone praised Bilbao for thier football against United but the overall possession at Old Trafford was very similar.... The difference Bilbao had most of thier possession in the final third while Swansea have most of thier possession in thier own half or on the half way line. It's a technical marvel yes but is exciting to watch ? f*ck no ! Much prefer how we played against Liverpool and West Brom to that crock of sh*te. The Swansea fans can moan all they want but they fact is they are held back by their own delusion that possession = attacking football. Posession is the most important and functional element of defense. Possession football is defensive football......

Today aside Ba has been fantastic on the left id argue he's been better on the left in general play than he was in the centre. He just has'nt scored goals, theres far too much being made of this.
-
Don't say that, he'll probably f***ing go and do it How many more does he need?
-
I have greater ambition for my club though. Who's got Lucas Barrios' number? Too bad your manager doesnt
-
Watch him not score again now

Will win, its just a question of how much imo and Ba must play the best way of him to get over his current slump is to get a goal. -
Bent's link up play and hold up play is f*ckin shite Cisse's is top quality.
-
But the formation works. Look at the German national side for example - I'd say Podolski is wasted on the left wing there as well. But the formation works and the team does great. That's the most important thing. It isn't about Ba's goals. It's about NUFC's goals. Pretty much this.
-
Yh this too, hoping they will be ready for Monday.
-
I knew he was good but this good? f*ck off
-
Pardew just said he got a strain not a pull and was taken off more as a precaution.

Gameplan looked like it was taken right out of the Mourinho-Inter v Barca hand book. Swansea are the most boring team i have watched all season. If thats football you can have it i say...... That's the most boring piece of sh*t i have seen all season they use possession to stop the opposition not kill the opposition its possession-based catenaccio. Would rather watch a team that passes the ball on the ground at pace and direct and have 20% less possession that hunk of shite you call " football" Swansea can have thier possession, we will take the points.
