In theory thats true but Chelsea wont allow it to be an open game, they will park the proverbial "plane" in thier penalty area and make it as difficult as possible. Barca will go through but it wont be the embarrassment that it really should be when you compare the two teams on paper.

This is what iam hoping for aswell.

Is it possible to be this dumb?

Or we could go full out Barca dream team 3-4-3......... Krul Simpson Williamson Santon Tiote Guthrie Jonas Cabaye HBA Cisse Ba -
? According to the Chronicle and other sources the buying club would have to spend around 20m to get Ba which includes agent fees, signing on fees, his transfer fee etc etc. Not sure if its true tbh, but it could put people off.

F*cking Reina and his f*ckin massive head -
Yh me too, i wouldnt mind seeing a LB come in and Perch and Raylor back up..... Santon go to RB and Tavernier as back up and Perch and Raylor can back up here too..... If Simpson were to be sold i wouldnt be worried about replacing him in the squad. Santon can play both sides too as can Jonas ( although this would be last resort)
-
1 CB, 1 LB, 1 CM and 1 versatile young forward, promote some kids like Vuckic, Abeid, Ferguson, Sammy and Tavernier for more minutes in the cups or because of injuries and suspensions. Having Taylor and Marveaux fit will be like new signings and the only ones i would even consider bids for are Simpson, Gosling and Guthrie but i would like to see them stay especially Guthrie. Sell Lovenkrands, Smith, Xisco, Ranger and Forster. We do all this and keep the important players and we will have a very strong squad next season and one capable of competing in Europe, going far in both cups and remaining competitive in the League. If we dont it will be an opportunity missed and a disappointment i feel.
-
I would not be suprised if we win our next 4 games or win 3 and draw the other but on that same token ( even though i dont want it ) i would not be suprised if we didnt win our last 3 games
-
I reckon Vuckic can look very good in the furthest forward of a midfield 3 infact i reckon it will fit him like a glove.
-
That's a good point actually it might just be 7m to talk to Ba :clutchingatstraws:
-
Even if we lose Ba? If we lose Ba id try and buy a forward that is adaptable and can play CF and outwide just like Ba to fit the 4-3-3 if we replaced Ba with Giroud it would be back to 4-4-2 and hoof ball all over again.
-
Exactly my feelings.
-
Which they will, anyway now we have signed Cisse i dont understand the Giroud link he's a #9 but we have Cisse. If we buy a forward id expect to someone who is less of a name and can play outwide like Ba really. Personally i think the media are bringing up Giroud stories from before we signed Cisse for £..... For this reason i like Hoilett, his contract is up he can play left, right and probably could even play in the centre at a stretch.
-
Completely agree, i have always said that but always been laughed at for it
-
Makes no sense now we have Cisse and its not like even if Ba went he could replicate the same left wing Role that Ba does.
-
Now you mention it that does seem how we work
-
Not really suprising, City could easily still be in the title chase when this game comes around and we could easily be still in the top 4 shake up. From Sky's POV is really a no brainer to get this game on TV.

Oh right mate of mine told me he was on Twitter and one i posted was one i found cheers
