  1. I'd really like to know who negotiates all of City's deals. I mean Pep probably puts a list down and they just go out and pay what people want Doesn't sound like they even try to get the price down.
  2. It's just discussions of links really, pretty standard stuff. Well except Ianeacho, who has been linked with West Ham so not massively OTT. Last week Gray was the link most pushed in the media and this week he isn't so the discussion changes. It will probably a new set of players next week
  3. Creaming? Think you might be overdoing it a tad tbh.
  4. That will happen tbh, unavoidable with how much they overpay.
  5. Dunno who Plaza Deportiva are but I'd be happy about that tbh, he's shown brain farts for City but he does bring aerial and physical prowess we don't have.
  6. Perisic is good, but that's like 15-20m too much That's what happens when you have a bottomless pit of cash though i suppose, he'd fit amazing well with Mourinho tbh.
  7. He's probably getting pissed in Benidorm tbf.
  8. Other than the FA Cup appearance he has scored like nearly everytime he's played, he doesn't need to get to grips with it at all. He just needs more minutes, it's a bit ridiculous being so critical of him based on so little.
  9. Gonna be class when he gets them 10th and then sacked the next day.
  10. Carvalho is one i could actually see tbh, he's another one who was hyped as a youth and while talented he's stagnated to the point the CL clubs are no longer interested. The exact type of profile we should be looking to pursue.
  11. That would be true if i compared their quality, i didn't though i compared him having similar style of play in certain aspects of their skillset. The way he moves off the ball is very Cristiano like, it's honestly the reason he cost so much money. Finding players who are intelligent off the ball are hard to find. We'll have to see if the rest of his game comes along mind.
  12. Why would they let Iheanacho leave? Sure they've got Aguero and Jesus, but Iheanacho has to be about as good third choice as you can possibly get? Considering their splurges already i wouldn't be surprised if they buy another forward for no reason what so ever. Same goes for Chelsea and Batshauyi.
  13. He's a totally different player IMO, his movement off the ball is Cristiano like but he doesn't have the ability from range like Bale as mentioned.
  14. I never said he wasn't a fantastic manager Are people incapable of detaching their emotional attachment to the man or something? in 2017 he's just not as good as the best coaches in the world anymore, that's a fact which has been proven again and again. I mean he used to get top 4 with scrubs like Denilson, Senderos, Andre Santos etc etc He's clearly not as good as he once was, whether you like it or not. He used to be a manager who would consistently get performances from players who had no right performing like they did, now he struggles to get the best out of them compared to his peers. There's nothing wrong with this, Ferguson wasn't the best manager in the world towards the end of his career in that moment. Age causes your performance to diminish and it happens to everyone. I don't know why people refuse to see the mounting evidence that has piled up over the last few years against him, over many 38 game seasons. That doesn't mean you don't respect him and consider him a legend as the two things are not mutually exclusive. But at the same time you honestly realise that in 2017 he's below his peers, that is possible to do very easily. I will accept that was probably a bad day for me to bring this up mind. To basically put in black and white, Wenger of mid 2000s would have had this team challenging Chelsea for the league and probably beating them and he certainly would not let Klopp and Pochettino consistently outshine him and in Klopp's case with irrefutably worse level of talent. That's not to say he's shite now or anything, but if you want to compete for the league he's not good enough and those who actually pay attention over a whole season will see that pretty easily.
  15. It's not about this season, it's been obvious for years now that he's getting worse as a manager. He hasn't been fit for purpose for 3 years now( i personally started noticing it when he just signed Ozil and put him on the wing to fit in Wilshere ), it's no coincidence that they have been buying higher standard of player over the last 3 years and spending more but getting worse. The manager just isn't as good anymore, when you compare him to his counterparts in 2017 he consistently gets outcoached. This all sounds very stupid but the FA Cup wins are consistently papering over the cracks, it will be the same again next year and people who actually support the club will want him gone ( rightly so) and others will refer to how he's a legend and still winning FA cups etc etc. I'm absolutely convinced if they someone similar to Pochettino or Klopp, the players would be performing to a much higher standard. I don't particularly think Liverpool or Tottenham have much better players they are just better coached. I know it's hard because he is a legend, but there comes a time where everyone has to move on otherwise you become what the Milan teams have become. It's possible they might make a stupid decision with regards to his replacement, like Man Yoo did or like we have many times. But you can't live in fear of possibly failing, we are living proof of that.
  16. He looked class in the CL, can't remember who it was against. He can't be worse than Bravo has been anyway.
  17. Transfermarkt stats are always massively wrong for some reason Not even sure why.
  18. They are heavily linked with Monaco's fullbacks, as i said earlier the plan just to be buy Monaco's players and hope it works out.
  19. They have been linked with Fabinho and Mendy too, so basically Guardiola's plan seems to be just buy from Monaco.
  20. Yeah i suppose that's true, even has the same last name.
  21. Hanley like Murphy was brought in to help us get promoted and now the job is done they will both be sold.
  22. Saw that Doesn't make any sense unless they want to slowly phase out David Silva as he ages. Smacks of getting someone so your rivals don't to me.
