Genuinely not sure what there is to like about him. Along with De Gea he's been the best shot stopper in the Premier League for the last 4-5 years. Yeah.... No.

Lad is mental.

Oh right my bad.

Would rather send him on loan tbh, at his age sitting on the bench won't do him much good. fair enough if you can find a good enough club that will make him first choice, unlikely imo if he is the "real deal" at 20 he should be getting ready for first team football with us imo, play him in the cups and cover for the more experienced keeper Not necessarily, i mean it's a youth tournament at the end of the day. The very same tournaments that Roysten Drenthe was made to look like the next Robben in. He might very well be the real deal but it doesn't mean he's ready yet. -

It might explain why the keepers linked are all like 34+ years old, have them for a year or two and then hopefully Woodman comes in. -
I think not. https://thisisfutbol.com/2017/06/blogs/premier-league/newcastle-interested-in-roma-forward-doumbia-journalist/ Use your brain man it's obviously bollocks.

And then about 30 seconds after I posted this, England score. I am the jinx master. Wew.

There's no setup in the world which will make Delli Alli, Dier and Livermore midfield look good, not a creative player among them. Dele Alli isn't creative? No he is a goalscorer and has fantastic movement and instincts but he doesn't have the vision or creativity we ask him to play. For Spurs they have Eriksen to do that job among others. Wouldn't be so bad if we picked Dier AND Livermore mind, although it's not going to matter against Scotland obviously.

Official: Yoan Gouffran signs new contract with Goztepe

One thing I will say is that we really don't know what goes on in the dressing room and at the training complex. Gouf may play a big role in bounding the group together, perhaps that's why Rafa wants to keep him around. They'll get over it, that simply isn't a good enough reason. -

Sack Rafa tbh. -
I don't even want him, he's not that good IMO. Would rather persist with Shelvey and Hayden personally than sign the likes of Delph.
-
It's because in this season and his first season he tends to disappear after Christmas. In his first year Remy scored more between January and May iirc, although he's been fantastic from August to Christmas in both seasons. I feel like he struggles to self motivate himself, seeing as both seasons Chelsea were winning the league by a significant margin come early Jan-Feb.
-
If he doesn't mind being back up I would go for it, don't think he's good enough to be a starter anymore but as a replacement for Murphy/Mitrovic I'm good with that Have a feeling Rafa won't be interested though.
-
I mean they obviously don't want to sell him and are bound by the rules to put the clause in. If that's the case it makes sense to put it as high as possible.
-
I admit I laughed

Honestly they seem to be the only club stupid enough to actually get caught with this. Everyone does it, it's one of those rules that seemingly doesn't get enforced. Except when you are Liverpool anyway.
