He was fantastic in that role for Nice and can do quite a job for us there considering we are playing the likes of Perez and Diame there atm I mean in England, it's completely different. I know it's Pardew and all but i can't see it working tbh.

Hatem is great but people have really short memories, he's not a very good #10 at all. Much better coming off the wing where he can't be marked so easily.

Yet the last home shirts to have red numbers, and some of the other favoured ones from the early-mid 80s had Red numbers on the back, and Blue Star on the front of a black and white shirt. I really don't think the sponsor logo being blue is so much of an issue, TBH. Difference between the Fun88 logo and the Brown Ale logo tbh, partly because the blue star didn't take up half the kit almost. Maybe you're right and i'm worrying for no reason but i feel like it might be a bit weird.

I'm a bit concerned the blue sponsor and red numbers will look a bit weird, looks fantastic just looking at the back mind.

Not us for the past 10 years, well, apart from the odd exception. Well yeah i'm assuming Rafa will make sure that changes.

I'm sure we'll sign players quickly if we can, it's completely a two way thing though. I'm sure most clubs with sense would want to have things done as quick as possible if they can.

Nothing wrong with giving your opinion on something tbh, it's a forum after all. Doesn't mean you don't ultimately trust Rafa overall, I have had concerns on a lot of transfers but I still trust Rafa completely.

I don't disagree completely, I'm just not comfortable with Shelvey being the only midfielder we have who can pass the ball at a high level. At least we have players who can protect the back 4, even if it's not what people may want. As far as CMs go who can pass, it's Shelvey or nobody.

I want a creative midfielder rather than a destroyer tbh, creating chances is a bigger issue than protection for the back 4. Outside of Shelvey we literally have nobody and there's no guarantees he'd be a sure fire success in the PL anyway. A quality CM and AM would change so much.
