  1. f*** me, no players playing out of position. Pearce couldn't have picked that side its far too sensible. Bellamy will play left wing, Giggs striker, Richards LB and Taylor RB just to throw everyone off. Eh, half of that is actually correct.
  2. Absolutely massive signing for us. Makes such a difference to our performances. http://www.readytogo.net/smb/showpost.php?p=13068511&postcount=2 http://www.readytogo.net/smb/showpost.php?p=13068591&postcount=4  Yet they are fully behind paying 12m for Fletcher

Having said all of this, despite the fact we have 3 central midfielders who are all capable passers. I expect it to be hoofball city simply because Pearce is more clueless than Mark Bright.

  5. WORLD CLASS lols What happened? Taking the piss out of Liverlol fans that call Suarez world class mate
  6. The Senegal manager looks like a Jamaican coke dealer P.S Senegal 1-0
  7. The PL pace and physicality is no where near as demanding as it used to be. Mata and Silva pissed all over the defences last season, i'm sure Neymar wouldn't have any problems having said that i expect him to go to Spain.
  8. Had a terrible first half though, was absolute s***. Agreed, he seems to be brilliant more often than shit for Brazil though. My post was more aimed at his overall performances since starting for Brazil just seemed like a good time to mention it.
  9. And he has been s*** for a while now. Has the odd excellent game where he looks to be out of this world, but is then consistently s*** for 10 games straight. Yeah had heard that, doesnt help he seems to be the next Kieron Dyer in the injury stakes though.
  10. Montpellier have laughed at their offer.
  11. Oscar is brilliant, the amount of chances Torres is going to spurn next year
  12. What a free kick. BTW i have not seen Ganso in so long i forgot how tall he was, looks like a giant next to some of the Brazil players
  13. It's a big part of the reason we struggle to link midfield to attack in a 4-4-2. Cabaye plays a little too deep and Jonas doesn't really offer much offensively, so often it ends in a hopeful ball towards one of the strikers. There's that and we had Williamson and Simpson at the back. Having a RB who is comfortable going forward and a CB alongside Colo who doesnt treat the ball like a grenade would only help matters as well having wingers who have good understanding about when to go inside and help link play and when to stay out wide to stretch the play. 4-3-3 is still the best for me, but 4-4-2 can work in a possession sense with the right tactics and personnel.
  14. Speaking of which is it true that Mbiwa is out of contract next summer?
  15. Jonas is much more than hard work as it stands right now whether it's 4-3-3, 4-2-3-1 or 4-4-2 he is a starter, can Marveaux bench him? i believe so but he wont be walking into the team he will have to put in consistent performances and stay fit over time. In any case i think Jonas and Marveaux will be rotated depending on the opposition if Marveaux can stay fit and they both offer us so much.

Pretty sure that the young teams we've seen in the friendly games will be playing the Europa/League cup games so unless things are going really tits up in the Europa League I don't see it having an effect really. I would like to see us have a real crack at the Europa League sure blood some youngsters but i want to see a mixture of experience and youth.
  17. Very, the only real concerns so far is when we have used 4-4-2 we have struggled to keep possession. But i'm sure having Debuchy and Santon as fullbacks will help with that and the fact Marveaux and Ben Arfa come in side a lot we could end up having 4 in the middle which would help with possession. The other concern i have is Ba and Cisse clicking as a pair because atm they both don't really look like a natural fit. Actually considering the players in that system that 4-4-2 could be a lot like City's 4-4-2 and they don't really struggle with possession due to the wide players coming inside and the fullbacks providing width. Let's and wait and see. Will be that I think but with Jonas starting over Marv, early on anyway. No problem over that if we are going to use wingers that come inside and fullbacks who provide width, Jonas is comfortable coming inside although Marveaux would make the attack more fluid with Jonas being better defensively. Either way it should work, i do feel the main issue with 4-4-2 atm is the fullbacks with Santon and Debuchy it could only help as far as possession goes.

I agree on paper we should finish in the top 6, but we shouldn't underestimate the effect on the extra games will have on the squad.
  19. It's been a while since i have seen a totally nuts skirge formation, god lord did i miss it.
  20. I think it's more likely Marv will be fighting with Ben Arfa for a start rather than Jonas, still not convinced Pardew has fully committed with Ben Arfa yet. Can see him replaced most games and missing a fair few as well. Jonas on the wing
