  1. Just hurry up and complete a deal already this is getting beyond tiresome.
  2. Didn't watch the game but i have seen enough for Swansea that shows his quality and unlike Henderson ( terrible comparison) he can actually pass forwards, create and dribble. Henderson is just awful. Besides i'm pretty sure most players look awful under the coaching of Stuart f*cking Pearce That wasn't a direct comparison in terms of playing style btw, more of the fee's they paid and are looking to pay respectively. Ah i take that back then, the difference is that Allen is actually talented and can actually effect a game, while Henderson is just horribly awful. I can see why Liverpool want him, but 15m as pointed out is well over the top but unlike with Henderson they are actually paying for someone with ability. But i have always felt prices only matter when a player performs badly. If a player performs you could play 50m for him and it wont even get mentioned. In anycase i will still laugh at Liverpool, because it's what i do

  4. I never said he's worth that much but he's a miles better footballer than Carroll that's for damn sure. Sure his price is inflated but whose isn't these days? unlike Carroll he has ability just because Liverpool look like signing him don't mean i have to completely ignore that and pretend he's s***.
  5. Joe Allen is 100x the footballer Carroll will ever be. I'd pay 10m for Allen and not even blink.
  6. Its quite bemusing that he's so far up and thought of in the FA. FA in a tactical dinosaur being highly thought of shocker !
  7. With each goal conceded, the commentator's c*ck gets harder what a c*nt.
  8. Commentator is a right c*nt btw.
  9. Have to say Satka has been outstanding, looking forward to see how he progresses over next few years.
  10. So what are the odds on it being that Lille have signed a RB meaning Debuchy will leave
  11. Tbf it's Allardyce there will be some f*cking epic long ball guff whether they sign Carroll or not. Whey obviously but if they sign him and play him ahead of Cole/whoever it'll be heightened as AC doesn't have as much pace in behind. Didn't they sign Maiga? i have to think that they want Carroll to go alongside him and Cole will be benched. Still, your point still is correct. In anycase i'm all for Carroll not joining and Liverpool making a massive loss in the process so this is a win-win for me. Regardless whether the talk of 25% sell on fee is true or not.
  12. I thought Malaga had loads or money flying around last year? did they not buy nistelrooy? Basically thier owner is refusing to pay the debts they have and now they having to sell players to pay off the debt. Ridiculous really.

  14. Or West Ham make a bid, we panic and match the offer and he chooses us The nightmare scenario.
  15. Excellent plan. West Ham spend 10m on Carroll and he resumes his crack party's with Nolan, we spend the money on someone who is actually good and Liverpool make a 25m loss 18 months after buying him. Everybody wins.
  16. We still haven't signed him?
  17. I think this is the first time in my life that i'm fully supportive of something fat sham is doing. Dno, i think it's brilliant.

    Douglas

London factor is well over played it only has any relevance if your successful. For s*** teams it's hardly an advantage at all. If he chooses Fulham or West Ham over us he wants his head looking at. Have we had a bid accepted for Douglas like? My post was using the scenario that all 3 clubs had accepted offers. Of course i know we haven't. But i don't consider Fulham and West Ham a threat, the only way they beat us to signing him is if we get cheap and don't give Twente what they want. Didn't you say similar regarding Luuk de Jong? Anyway, to discard West Ham and Fulham as serious contenders for his signature is incredibly arrogant and shortsighted if you'd ask me. Did i? in any case that was a very different scenario, Twente were asking for ridiculous amounts they are not this time. How do you know? Assumptions based on reports in the media. Do you not think FC Twente will want to maximise its fee, especially now there are apparently 3 Premiership clubs in for one of their players? Again, you are passing assumptions of as facts if you think NUFC will just meet whatever asking price FC Twente may have in mind and he will then choose us over them as we are obviously a much more attractive proposition. Don't you ever learn? How are Fulham and West Ham a more attractive proposition though? Gladbach was different because De Jong was promised a starter role as CF and CL football. It's hardly the same. I never said we would meet their evaluation i was talking about if we did, then i couldn't see Fulham and West Ham providing much competition.

Also i dont believe it is, we are in Europe, we are contending with the likes of Spurs and Arsenal, we are showing ambition to go further. West Ham are likely to be in a relagation battle and Fulham are mid table at best. That would actually have some relevance if he wasn't Brazilian
