Nobody is asking him to invest his own money, the thick c***. Just give Rafa the money which the club generates, it's quite obviously there enough to spend more than we have. Nobody expects ridiculous spending but 70-100m is definitely possible and we are not asking to compete with Man City either, competing with f***ing West Ham would be a good start.

I certainly hope so, i get the feeling the season will be a lot more enjoyable and comfortable with a couple of more signings.

Depends on your definition of enjoyment, i think we'll be comfortable but it will still be a frustrating season.

Nope, him being captain doesn't make him a certain starter. I doubt if Clark and Lejeune start well together that they'll be dropped.

Most pundits don't have a clue in general and hardly watch the games at all, it's not just us in all fairness. They'll catch a few highlight clips, say a few outlandish things and call it a day. I wouldn't have a problem with the average bloke doing this but when it's your job i'd expect a little more professionalism, i guess that's too much to ask.

He's a Chelsea player who seemingly isn't in their plans, selling those players is what they do. If we actually want him next summer we'll get him.

That was my assumption as well, no idea what Rafa wants him for tbh.

I doubt Rafa would play two attacking fullbacks at the same time unless he switched to a 3 at the back which seems unlikely.

Is it? Are you actually staggering around? The local lads that spring to mind are adored and legends. Shearer, Beardsley, Waddle, Gazza, Ben Arfa, etc. The s**** ones are called out for being s****, not for being local. Easy myth to bust. I didn't even notice that at first, class.

It's more frustration than rage IMO, at least from my point of view anyway. I don't feel rage towards him, i feel frustrated that he's at the club when he's quite clearly not good enough, consistently plays like shit and overall is just frustrating to watch him play and realise he shouldn't be. Utterly fantastic that Rafa is moving him on.
