i m not agree when people say he keeps the ball too long. For me, people who say "oh he sould pass it to him, he is alone!!! oh he tried to pass his opponet it didn't work, greedy/etc" don't understand football. If he makes the pass to someone else, does it means we gonna have an attempt to score? The player he l'make the pass to will have to make the diffrence, it's so easy to make pass and wait, look barcelona. It's not to be greedy to not make the pass, it's to try to pass opponents to make spaces and create danger. I prefer ben arfa try to take two players and it doesn't work than pass to simpson all alone. If there was some talent in that team ok, but no one can create at the moment, even cabaye who i think is not as good as people think he is. More real footballers in this team, more link up and pass from hatem.

Honestly, from a french point of view, i can't understand how the players and the coach can't see that the tactic is not appropriate to the players in each line. cabaye is like a number 10/8, totally useful in a box to box mieldfield ben arfa has no support in the middle of the ground, only simpson. We play Hoofball to demba ba, but he is not good to keep the ball back to the net, and who makes the pass? Williamson, aka the non footballer/ give the ball to krul it's more safe. We start to create always with williamson/taylor who have no vision at all...yes to see simpson who lmakes a long ball yesterday was so frustating.

very good player playing for a poor team, poor game

4 years ago, being asked about obertan, laurent blanc, who was his coach at bordeaux, said that obertan needed to fix his mental/psychologic problems if he wanted to make a good football carreer. i think there's a big issue with this guy, he doesn't have self confidence.

i don't compare him to ben arfa, ( i watch all the magpies games coz of him ) marveaux when he played at rennes was a very good player of Ligue, lot's of assists, technical, fast player. what i say is that he is for me the second best creator in the team, and people write him off. i honestly hope hatem will reach a better team to express his potential with good players around him. newcastle style of play is simple horrible, and doesn't suit the flair players. If chelsea= mata and arsenal= arteta, for me newcastle= jonas i don't think the style will improve, too many players like williamson, simpson, jonas, ameobi, obertan near the first team

Sorry but looking the game against WBA, the tactic pardew sets up is horrible to watch, the second half was such horrible... hi guys, i think the main problem of how nufc plays come from the Four back who are so predictable, how many times williamson gives the ball back to harper ...long ball...lose the ball. We need them to play forward and try to find directly the midfield, cabaye, tiote or direct ben arfa. remember when harper found directly ben arfa during the norwich game, he was one on one, dribble his opponent and then made the assist for ba. With defenders who don't know how to play simple pass and just send long balls, you can't do anything. When they make a pass, it's for the right or left back who can't do anything and play long ball too. Technical players at the back is so important nowadays to have fluidity in the game, ben arfa , cabaye or cissé are useless if we don't play a technical football.

giroud or dejong would be great i think demba ba can leave and we won't lose too much. please no cissokho from lyon, he is shit, a taiwo sort of player. if next year jonas is on the bench, it will mean we lgo champions league.

i think the main problem with hoofball is the centerback williamson, all he does with the ball is give back the ball to krul....long ball...or try to find cissé and ba...long ball. defenders are first attack players, so with improvment in the defense with players good on the ball who can find the midfield players with a straight pass or the wingers it will improve all the game. definitly, i think a debuchy and a better player than williamson can change the style of playing of the team. williamson and simpson, your are good, but not enough good to play good football.
