  1. £5.136 billion with Sky broadcasting the lions share, including Friday, Sunday 4PM and Monday KO's. More than some of the top estimates predicted.
  2. My younger brother (he is 14 now) initially and rather inexplicably, went through a stage of being a Liverpool fan. The whole family support Newcastle, but all it takes is a couple of kids at school to support one of the 'more successful sides' and mocking from peers seems to be enough to get them to switch allegiances. And I totally get that, no one wants to go into school and get laughed at for getting by other kids when you team gets hammered by theirs. Managed to turn him anyway, that season in the Championship helped as we were putting in good attacking displays. But it was tough.
  3. And that was donkeys years ago now. Would probably charge close to double that today.
  4. Given there is seven packages, it would be pretty unfathomable if they were to get less than four. To be honest, I like Sky's coverage and I am pretty happy with the service. If a third or fourth broadcaster gets packages the price to watch everything will go through the roof. Consumer can't really win. The only way it can work in the favour of the consumer, or viewer, is to have a pay per view service where you pay a reasonable amount for the games you want to see, regardless of which channel they are broadcast. It is pretty straightforward to watch every game of your chosen club live via the interweb already - sometimes the quality is not great of course. If there was a way to watch the games I wanted to watch in HD quality for a sensible price I would be interested.. Not the 10 Pound per day option you can currently get, I can have the channel for a month for that amount with the rest of my Sky package. The cost per game should be 2- 3 Quids max!! I worry a bit about any, particularly internet based subscription / season ticket like passes. I know its not really what you are referring to, but you can bet if something like that was introduced the top clubs would be wanting major changes do how the money is distributed. Internet broadcasting, particularly if they can negotiate it individually is the holy grail for top clubs.

    Remy Cabella

Carver having a go at him: http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/remy-cabella-told-show-more-8603880
  7. Carver clearly a graduate of the Pardew school of substitutions.
  8. 17 of the top 20 (myself included) had Aguero as captain this week.
  9. I suspect it is scare tactics more than anything else, as you said - and others on the previous page have found, when confronted on it they are likely to back down.
  10. Say's on twitter that he did. Club just being cunts.
  11. From Twitter: Martyn Kelly @MKell07 · 19m 19 minutes ago So I'm paid up for the remainder of the season, didn't renew for 15/16 and the bastards cancel my ticket with immediate effect! #NUFC
  12. On TV three times in the next month, so will be good to see how these players get on.
  13. Is there not some kind of limit to how many loanees they can bring in from the same club?
  14. Get your Rangers sweepstakes in: Bigi, Vuckic, Satka, Armstrong
  15. Tbh, I overestimated what a 'par score' was this week in the top 20, assumed it would be about 70 - my team is pretty standard and devoid of any differentiators. So pleasantly surprised to see me jump a few places.
  16. I know that as soon as I bring him in, Wenger will go for Chambers.
  17. Will end up on around 80, nothing special. Not bad, but for a poor captain decision and 15 points on the bench I would have hit 100.
  18. We were looking at signing that Adam's a few months back weren't we?

    Rolando Aarons

It's in the Chronicle article in fairness. Same one says he can do one at the end of the season should he wish. Ryder denying the clause now. Even though he wrote the article! You couldn't make it up.
