Well all clubs have these departments, City have like a ten strong team I think. Can't imagine Pardew taking too much notice of what our analysts have to say, almost everything he does seems to be based on his intuition. Although I am sure he pops in to get the 'distance covered' stats.
-
Pretty sure if we were sat here in twenty years surveying the managers of the Premier League, whilst I am sure there would be still some former players, it wouldn't surprise me if there were several from the 'FM Generation' - people who are now entering the game as opposition and performance analysts and the likes.
-
It's simple for me. He has been here four years now and yet, a brief flirtation with Europe aside I don't think we have really achieved anything. If Pardew was to pack his bags tomorrow, has he brought the club forward in anyway? I think you can only answer yes to that if you believe he has had a strong hand in our transfer policy, which just is not the case. Maybe we are starting to see signs of promise from the academy, but I am loathe to give him any credit for that given that he has also stalled the careers of a number of talented youngsters. There is no discernible style to our play and for all the rhetoric of 'stability' we teeter constantly from moderate peaks to unacceptable troughs. Unfortunately Pardew is the perfect manager for Ashley, but I would still sack him tomorrow.

I think that's probably true. Don't think he will ever be well liked though. His personality makes it impossible.

Don't think I have ever had a worse GW. Austin sent off and still my highest scorer.
-
And I have Elliot. Probably have to my Wildcard here. Nightmare week.
-
I thought he looked very dodgy if I am honest. Couple of moments he absolutely had to come for the ball and yet he hesitated and stayed put. Sure a lot of it was nerves though.
-
I contemplated that but went for Austin for Pelle in the end.

What are the actual consequences of this ? I know he was given a suspended sentence - and I thought he was banned from driving too? Could he be prosecuted based on this video? Emanates from this twitter account - https://twitter.com/violentalady, which I take it sold the video to The Sun. Half of the tweets appear to be about Tiote, wonder if it is a disillusioned mistress. EDIT: And here is the video in question - https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=819724811404277&id=604882386221855 Doesn't show him actually drinking whilst driving and it isn't in this country. Moron all the same.

Captain Aguero to the rescue.

That's Aarons out until March then. -
Tiote instead of Gouffran and Colo back in if ready. But yeah, we are pretty limited in what we can put out.
-
This isn't a kneejerk reaction, but could see us losing five or six of the next seven. Burnley looks a really tricky proposition now.

She has done all of them this season.

Bigirimana to come back in from the cold and play well - leading to widespread praise for Pardew in the press.

Gaël Bigirimana rejoins Coventry on a permanent basis

Agreed. Find this utterly bizarre. Came in at eighteen and not only did well, but looked very comfortable, which is almost unheard of at that age for someone in midfield. Great first season, then just nothing. And its quite clear that he obviously has a level head about him, can't imagine he started slacking off thinking he had 'made it'. The whole thing is incredibly disappointing. -
One of their players ducking out the way there.

Chronicle running another Pardew public opinion poll. Running too high atm... http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/alan-pardew---newcastle-united-8105344

Still bewildered about this one. Beyond me how anyone can play (and look very good in) 20 odd games one season at only nineteen and then not even feature on the radar the year after. I know he had a few injuries but still. -
Will finish on 73 I think. Might be enough to push into the top ten.
