Well you seem to be the one talking about it, I didn't even know this button existed...

Reckon his broken toe probably came from kicking something in frustration when he heard about Debuchy.
-
Aye, I get the feeling his ideal front 6 would look something like: Tiote - Anita Ben Arfa - Cabaye - Remy Cisse If he managed to relegate a team with that attacking lineup I would lead the assassination squad myself!
-
Even if we don't have the money to spend big there just has to be some half decent cheap stoppers out there that would be a better option than Williamson.

Brighton side for their last match: 29 Kuszczak 03 Greer 06 El-Abd Booked 28 Bridge 04 Hammond 11 Orlandi (Hoskins - 80' ) 21 David Lopez 25 LuaLua (Dicker - 55' ) 26 Bridcutt Booked 09 Barnes 12 Mackail-Smith (Dobbie - 85' ) Forgot Lua Lua was there....

Worse. It was Yeading, they were 3 divisions off the football league. Think it's the biggest ever division gap between two teams in the FA Cup. Thrashed them 2-0. ah yes Yeading, dear me it was soul destroying stuff. Aye I remember that - was a really dodgy surface and every time the ball went near Boumsong his attempted control was like a dog playing with a balloon.

Same here - you absolute wankers!

7/2 to score more than Ba in the rest of the season: http://news.ladbrokes.com/en-gb/football/premier-league/cisse-an-amazing-price-to-outscore-ba-over-rest-of-premier-league-season_133909.html Might have a slice of that action.

I would love an absolute beast of a centre-half, exactly what we're missing back there IMO.
-
That's the point I made when I first saw the lineup - Shola was picking up Distin at set pieces (of which they had shitloads) and did a decent job - you've left him out to put Cisse up top and Bigi in midfield and you've got a big potential problem. Could be an issue in a few games actually - looks like our preferred front 6 will be Anita, Cabaye, Tiote, Marv, Cisse and HBA - not much height there at all.
-
Instead, we'll all be fuming at the fact a side in such poor form has battered us. That's the spirit!
-
Just been looking at their form - they've only won 4 from 13 at home this season and 2 of their last 10 home and away. Excellent chance for a morale-boosting win, some goals for Cisse and a clean sheet.....
-
I would say Jagielka at rb is an upgrade on hibbert Naysmith has been playing nearly every game Who else do they have there? Mirallas - he's been brilliant when fit.

Thought he did OK at doing what Shola does, which unfortunately isn't much. Headed a few set pieces clear though, which is one of the main reasons he was picked I reckon.
-
Hope we play a really strong team and go for it - we're probably not going to win the league now so a decent cup run would be lovely.

More chances? Everton created far more than what we did. From the BBC: 58% possession Shots: 14-7 Shots on: 11-6 How many of those "shots on" where f***ing soft balls that Howard could just pick up? the Shots/Shots on Taget stats is foolish to use. What about possession? Or is any stat that doesn't support an established view pointless?? Anyway, not picking on your post in particular mate, whole place is a little overly negative for my liking tonight (understandably enough in fairness) - I'm off to bed!
-
Full strength and lose would be pretty deflating... Faint heart never won fair maiden!

Well we're not going to win them league so may as well have a crack at the cup. Play full strength and go for a morale boosting win.
-
Didn't think tonight was too bad - we were always likely to lose to Everton with the form they're in and the players we have missing but still managed to create more chances, and with a bit better luck and finishing could have been a draw at least. Things will improve with players returning and coming in - defence for the next league match is likely to be Debuchy - Taylor - Colo - Santon - best back 4 we've been able to put out in years.
-
Why not just play a midfielder on the right? Doesn't have to be a specialist winger, just any midfielder who would surely be better out wide than Cisse? I'm not sure, there's not many options really - Anita maybe, but he doesn't offer the goal threat of Cisse. And i wouldn't want to move Marv out from the middle where he's been brilliant. Not saying I necessarily agree, I can just see why he's done it.
-
I think that's the point a lot of people seem to be missing. One thing Shola does better than Ba is hold the ball up, should give Obertan, Marv and Cisse more time to join from deep - thinking positive!
-
In all honesty I think the Shola decision has been forced on him to an extent by the late loss of Ba and lack of wide midfield options - think we'll get a much better idea of his longer-term thinking against Norwich when we'll have more numbers back...
