I agree and hopefully Pardew will see that and adjust accordingly.

Eh? I said it could be PART of but not all. I dont really know the exact reason he's playing badly. Just looking at possible reasons.
-
Think he along with most supporters where almost certain that deal would go through. I think its part of but not all of the issue. His confidence do seem to quite low currently for whatever reason.
-
Currently he's showing a very similar resemblance to his dip in form about mid way through last season, where his performances were almost non existant. That along with his excrutiatingly bad set pieces (excluding the last minute one v Villa). He was obviously very keen to see Debuchy here and their may be something in that. For me he needs to be played more advanced as he has much more obvious impact on games, due to it highlighting his main asset, passing.

Kitbag were doing them but they are off now. Ceased production?

10th. Last season was amazing but we over-achieved and with a clustered fixture list to ask the same of the players again is a tall order. Hopefully we can avoid injuries and the side keeps its togetherness. We've got good managment and some outstanding individiuals though so we should be fine.

Shuts at 11pm unless your Spurs. I'm also working so will avoid all sky's usual bullshit, twitter wont be worth the hassle either.

Wouldn't surprise me in the slightest, he hasn't looked fit and he hasn't looked happy especially with his mate not coming as expected. Did Cabaye have to come on tonight to be cup tied? Regarding european competition. I really don't know, that has been open to conjecture on here. If he'd come on tonight and we were eliminated then he's free to play in other euro comp's I know that , i'm just not entirely sure if its participating at any point or simply being named in the squad that cup ties him. Hopefully we'll keep them all, but I reckon someone is gonna try last ditch for one of our players. Hopefully Xisco.

Having said that, iv just got a growing feeling someone is leaving tomorrow..... heads saying its Cabaye.
-
He's going to look silly regardless, tbh. Very true
-
Well I dont know what Pardew knows and obviously I dont trust our board. Just seems an odd thing to say.
-
Hopefully that quote (as awful as it is) is a good indicator no one is leaving. Pardew's gonna look pretty silly if we sell someone now.
-
Can't see Liverpool signing Sturridge, will cost an immense amount of money given his nationality. Not sure how much money they have to spend.
-
Can we have one last concerted effort to sign Debuchy please? What am I saying? Of course we can't

Juventus in 2002. Sheffield Wednesday in 1993 Mathie's goal 4-2 if i remember right? Waddle gave us trouble all night for them.

Yeh but neither of those players came nor did Bryan Ruiz and perhaps out off distrust or annoyance, I questioned at the time wether or not those bids were serious or just verbal propaganda in an attempt to calm fans down, and also began to wonder if we were going to get a replacement for Carroll. Which is why I was shocked when Cisse came in. Dont think im alone in that either. I agree we used our blueprint when scouting him but I was still suprised we paid what we did. Was the Ruiz deal even real? Thought it was David Craig being spun a yarn. Probably not, it was pretty farcical anyway. We got Ba in, failed to bring in someone else up front and I really did think that was that in terms of looking for a striker. Ba's form the first half of the season only enhanced my view we would'nt bring anyone else in in Jan.

Personally I was very suprised when we signed him and didnt think we would offer that much for a striker at the time. I know he forked out plenty for Colo but plenty has happened since then.

That's a good point actually. If you assume the Carroll money was used to engineer all of last seasons incomings, makes you wonder how much 'capital outlay' we actually have or are willing to spend without an injection of cash coming in from a player sale. Then why did we try to buy De Jong before Carroll. I said makes you wonder, no one knows for sure. Aye, does like the mysterious does Ashley. Aye, think the trouble is that the Cisse deal had people yearning for more of that sort of transfer, when really it was all a bit Un-Ashley like.
