Really can't be doing with this match like, how 90 minutes of football can mentally cripple someone. Watched them saturday and they were shocking, but as mentioned thats the worry. O'Niell will have them believing that this match is their lives.
-
I could'nt make it last night and felt pretty bad watching it on the box. Will be at every one up until we got knocked out now.
-
Got to agree with this aswell. Ba absolutely tortured Ferdinand last season and a lot of our play was very direct. Man U never got to grips with it really for the whole game. Shola had one of his better games from actually starting to. Its obviously thier front line that is the worry, but we can really hurt these on Sunday.
-
Don't think so. Would be hugely suprised if both Taylor and Colo start.
-
I know he's been fairly rubbish so far this season but I would definatly play Jonas on sunday. His work rate was crucial last season in the 3-0 as it helped Santon cope a bit more with both Nani and Valencia running at him. Not so sure Ferguson could offer the same security. Always think Gutierrez raises his game against better players aswell.
-
Only got a few games last year in which he would understandably been nervous in. Looks settled now and actually looks a quality keeper.
-
Their nostalgic and treasured memories of football revolve around us not winning the league.
-
Hard to believe they we're in financial meltdown at one point, they looked set to be out of business.
-
That Gundogan looks a class act mind.
-
Should never have sold Hughes imo. Underrated defender.
-
Also the scenario would crop up where the stoppages we're generally low and you wind up with a 35 or 36 minute half. To short.
-
I can't actually think of anyone else barring Ferguson who moans on about it though. Is added time really that much of an issue to enforce a rule change?
-
Agree with that, its just to short even with that new proposed rule. Just keep it as it is.
-
He'll be wanting the penalty spot closer next time they miss one. Ferguson is just bitter, finding any excuse to deviate from why they actually lost. The game is fine as it is, barring one or two niggling issues.
-
does he just filter out Martin O'Neills constant hopping up and down on the sidelines? Clearly, but then Marty has class in abundance remember.

'A Manager conducting himself like that man, what a fucking bellend. Thought his antics in the Goodison directors box was way over the top too' Some idiot on RTG about Pardew. What on earth was he supposed to do when we scored the 2nd? Calm and soflty spoken 'Ah yes an equaliser Demba excellent'
-
They had, which provided the usual media hysteria about how they never lose two on the bounce. Our form had dipped going into the fixture last season, with only the 0-2 at Bolton preventing our run from being shocking. We produced a performance out of nowhere for the 3-0, lets hope for another.
-
They won 1-2 up here iirc in which we scored first with Lovenkrands. Season we dropped.
-
If that does happen pray to the heavens above it does not come in the league fixture after this one. Thank god there's a 2 week gap between the "United" game and the mackem one, hopefully enough time for all of the injured players to make a full recovery. Aye it's quite handy. Need the likes of Saylor playing in that one.

Not sure if already been mentioned but just noticed we're releasing a 1000 goals DVD. We've released some crap DVD's in the past but this one would be a worthy buy imo, if not for some of the nostalgia it will provoke.

Something else to ponder over I suppose rather than how shit we've been lately.

It's Not About Formations. Its Systems. Style of Play.

I agree with your post but Man Utd have been doing that since the premier league began and have won the Premier League 10x over. Their a bad example. The team to compare ourselves to has to be Everton, who have all the attributes you mention with limited resources. Similar to ourselves (resource wise) it could be argued. -

But he's more or less refused to do it if you read between the lines. Cisse used to do more of it till he started scoring and then just took over from Ba as the main goalhanger. You can't have 2 goalhangers in the PL. Aye at the minute he's giving the impression of someone who aint really keen on searching for it thats true, but he's not getting any help from a midfield devoid of a good cross, excluding Fergie. Works in both ways I guess , just highlights the imbalance at the minute. -

Service to the strikers, Cisse mainly, must be mentioned aswell. I see your point about Cisse needing to move more around the pitch but that's part of the problem for me. He relies on quality service and this season he has had precisly zero. Ba is the better all round footballer who can link midfield to attack very well.
