    Joelinton

Where's Kaka? We need some positive mental energy directed towards this guy as he clearly needs all the help he can get.
  2. Ashley's team are going to win this by default.
  3. Again it's a pretty shit pass for such a simple one to make. But still, Joelinton should be taking it. Just comedic all round really.
  4. To be fair to the lad, he probably only actually cost £15 million. Still £15 million too much like.
  5. I'll give Bruce one thing, he seems to be a very very lucky cunt.

We don’t NEED to win this, a draw would be a good result in truth, if you play the 40 point game we are on track. As ever, that’s the first target That's the only target there will ever be under this regime.
  7. Every fan must want Ashley gone, but season ticket holders and fans who give him money are keeping him here for the long term, to the detriment of the club. A near empty stadium every other week and something has to give. The lost revenue, the adverse publicity for sponsors and the league itself, the no doubt poor performances with nobody to support the team, leaves Ashley needing to do something. But there's literally zero chance of it happening so we'll continue to be a toy for the fat cunt to play around with. He's not going anywhere for a long time.
  8. "When I realised that Newcastle were not investing to progress." When will the fans realise this, and more importantly, act on it?
  9. A team like Man City ? How did that end. Worst than last season. A team like Spurs ? How did that end - we robbed them even though they were gash. A team like Man Utd ? How did that end. Could've easily gone either way. We didn't dominate and they missed a good chance before the young Longstaff pulled your mate out. A team like Bournemouth? How did that end. Could've easily been a draw. Same as WHU who almost came back from 3 down. We've not dominated a full game all season. Can we now talk about how Norwich, Leicester, Villa etc went? Or is that against your rules? Howay man we all hate Steve Bruce, but you could look at any team's results over the course of a season and point out what could've happened differently to change the scoreline. You can't take every decent result away from the players. I'm not taking them away from anybody but we've not dominated anybody over 90 mins and, whilst we've 100% certainly got lucky in games, we've not yet been 'unlucky'. We'd be on 9-12 less points if a bit of luck went against us imho. Agree. Going by expected goals would have us bottom, so we clearly have had a fair bit of luck so far this season.
  10. Wow how rattled can one person get in defence of Ashley and his club.
  11. Have never heard anyone call it the sports direct arena in my life Clearly bollocks How about the BBC, or the club eh: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/15668207 And believe it or not, but for people who don't really give a fuck about NUFC, the name sticks easily.
  12. Defeats are the best thing for the long term future of the club. Unless you want Ashley to be allowed the time to finish off whatever it is he has planned for the club.
  13. Aye, I understand apathy or even antagonism towards the regime, but I can't get behind celebrating when the other team scores like. Even more so when it's one of the plastic, money clubs like City scoring. Pretty much where I am. It's very easy to celebrate (only a mental 'ha ha' for me, no jumping around) when you view the club as Sports Direct United rather than Newcastle United. I sort of understand that perspective but it still seems odd to me to keep watching, if I legitimately wanted us to lose every week and no longer considered the team in black in white to represent Newcastle I think I'd probably give it a miss until I felt differently. To continue watching seems masochistic at best. Because they do still care.its just uber cool to join the fucking morons in wanting us thrashed and say they dont care because it's what the cool kids do.ive no idea why if they hate the club so much they bother. They still watch though, they still know stats etc yet dont give a fuck Dear me. How is it that hard to understand that the reason people want the club (in its current guise) to fail is because they care deeply about the club that used to exist before Ashley took over. What people don't give a fuck about is Sports Direct United. FWIW, I haven't watched a matched in years. I've got better things to do with my time. I enjoy coming on on here though for the craic, the community and the connection with home as I live in the Midlands now. Oh I understand, it's the twatty attitude of folk giving it get in when the oppo score So, I just went through the thread to count the overwhelming number of Militant Mags who said "get in" after City scored. Let's see... when Sterling scored, precisely ZERO posters felt moved to say "Get in" or ANYTHING that could be remotely construed as cheering in the City goal. When KDB scored his worldie, exactly ONE person said get in, and ONE other person quoted that post. Which prompts me to ask to please fuck off with your Trumpian bullshit?
  14. What was great about it, we parked the bus at home for 90 mins. And still only got a result because they were woeful. Why someones venom and anger would be directed at the fans who have rightfully checked out is beyond me, but it's fitting for Ashley's NUFC. No anger from me, I’m just staggered at the posters posting get in when the oppo score, why are you even on a match thread if you hate the fuckers, just don’t get involved. No need . Habit probably, people have been watching and/or posting in match threads for years and might still watch a game. Just because they can't bring themselves to want NUFC to win any more doesn't disqualify them from posting. They are on a NUFC fans forum, and an NUFC match thread. Once you start wanting NUFC you stop becoming a supporter, even if in your logic you think it might be for the best in the long run. Sorry to say it, but those people are doing nothing but baiting people in a time when they really shouldn’t be baited. Plenty of supporters of other clubs have came on here and done the exact same in match threads and be banned for doing just that. This is no different. Precious little flowers. It must be so hard to deal with.
  15. What was great about it, we parked the bus at home for 90 mins. What's different this time? Erm, Man City and their form? That doesn't make any sense. He's asking why one was such a great performance and the other wasn't I believe. Not why someone would want us to win last season and not now. I may be wrong like but that's how I read it.

  19. Man City have been woeful by their standards. It wouldn't surprise me if we actually win this, I've got a bet on it as insurance. It's becoming a bit of a theme this season, Spurs could hardly pass a ball against us and played so narrow they effectively handed us the win, the Man Utd team we faced would struggle to avoid relegation, West Ham didn't even turn up against us. Unless City get their shit together we could be gift wrapped another 3 points today.
  20. Saint Maximim has a lot of pace and skill, but you do get the sense he's a bit of a headless chicken. That's where a real coaching team might be able to help.
  21. You talk as if he's world class. He's clearly not, but any iota of ability, which he still flashes now and then will be completely obliterated. How you got world class from me saying he showed some ability is extraordinary to me by the way. Well clearly, just he hasn't shown much in his career so far to suggest there's that much to be ruined. So in your opinion he is a nothing player with no ability at all? And therefore can't be ruined? Interesting take. Completely over the top IMO, but to be expected. Stop putting words in peoples mouths you goon. You're getting excited by him showing some apparently good touches (where he lost the ball both times). Easily pleased much? Says the guy that asserted I was implying he's world class. You don't like him we get it, but you're the one clearly over reacting to a nothing comment. You're being ridiculous. This is so weird man. Weird is getting so excited by the lack of promise he's shown so far but I guess we'll just have to disagree on this.
  22. Talking to fans of various clubs lately, a lot seem to believe the stadium is called the Sports direct Arena. Another win for Ashley. Maybe if the "fans" were to destroy his adverts it might help. But that's not part of their big day out now is it.
