Some fans are so fickle. A few points and it's back on board the Ashley and Bruce train. Hopefully Bournemouth show up and do a number on this football company.

Tbf Hatem might have missed clean through like ASM did the other day...if he tried to take it round the keeper, twice. He was in a different league to this boy in terms of ability and end product.

It's like some surreal universe, the funniest thing is a few more wins and the whole stadium will probably be singing his name. The nearly full stadium is another reason Ashley's got it so comfortable too.
-
Good balanced post.

I hope everyone leaves, fans, players, but mainly Ashley. Until then fuck the 'club'. Stay off the match thread if it fucking bothers you.

Yep, nailed it.

He's not a Newcastle United signing, he's an Ashley signing, signed to benefit Ashley not NUFC. It does look like there might be some talent in there, but none of us should want Ashley's ridiculous actions to be in some way vindicated. That's why for me it's imperative that both Joelinton, and the club as a whole, fail badly this season.

Amazing. Can't say I'm that surprised. Particularly, earlier on in the season he did some fantastic stuff when the ball was played into him. It's so much harder to see because the team in general is not functioning at all in an attacking sense. Genuinely think that if Rafa was still here and we had this exact team in place we'd be amazed at what it would be doing in general, and how good Joelinton would look. Playing devil's advocate here but he may be getting the ball in less threatening areas, hence it being easier to win headers and easier to hold onto the ball than in the attacking third (which we're never in tbf). Then we have so little possession that he's got plenty of chances to win more tackles and the like. Does he get as high a percentage of his shots on target as Rondon? As many assists? The highlight for me yesterday was his attempt to control Longstaff's pass escaping him by about 10 yards leading directly to the sending off.

Yeah, I feel apathy about individual things happening in games, but pain about the situation of the club. I actually felt better when Wolves scored, the only thing that makes it logical is Newcastle losing and getting relegated. Otherwise Ashley is shafting us and getting what he wants. Same, if we win / avoid relegation the only winner is Ashley. I actively want us to lose.

 How many fucking times man?

This is definitely correct. I'd be surprised if we actually parted with more than £20 million for him.
-
Not that hard to believe really. Have to say I knew we were playing today, didn't know who or what time like Will be watching it at home, hope the longstaffs have another good experience but other than that... Mehhh. I knew we were playing Chelsea but didn't know if it was today, tomorrow or Monday. Apathy rules where Ashley's club is concerned.

Cack under Rafa?! He transformed us FFS! Anyone who thinks that doesn’t understand football Unfortunately a sizeable proportion of NUFC's support falls into this category.
-
He has claimed a lot of things. Not many of them turn out to be true.
-
All the club cares about is PR. Evidenced by their pathetic lie-filled statement, as well as this Kenyon bollocks continuing on.
-
It's as if people can't learn from the past. How many recent examples do they need of players coming under pressure from knee-jerk fans and struggling to lift their form and confidence. Perez? Diame?

Same, its absolutely tragic that 2 PL teams are this bad, and have managers this bad too.
-
The quality of this game as a whole is fucking dire.
-
Lucks on our side today.
-
If Pardew came in when Bruce did, I think he'd be equally as bad at this point.
-
Is Muto injured or has Bruce just fucked him off completely? Poor lad.
-
Agree, he only finished what 'the King' started to be fair to him.
