HBA has a couple of poor shots...bench him, he's useless, selfish, tries to hard, blah blah blah. Whoop de fucking do he wasted a chance!! He also created the fucking chance himself. Some people either just need a scapegoat, or need to talk shit to get a reaction.

Yep, needs to know he's gonna play 90 minutes. Frustrating today but what do you expect when he gets 30 minutes here and there to try and 'produce that bit of magic'?
  3. I wish Pardew would grow some balls. Theres no way we'd be so worried about them that HBA would be on the bench under KK or SBR. No fucking way.
  4. Ben Arfa didn't take the ball out of play, it just looked like that because MOST of the ball had crossed MOST of the line. The only thing they can be pissed off with IMO is the handball, and by then they were down to 10 and were gonna get over-run anyway. So they should be pissed off with the stupidity of their players and manager really, but this is Stoke we're talking about here. Fuck em.
  5. Really up for this game now, the run we've been on makes this almost a free game, just hope we go out and give a good account of ourselves. We're capable of beating them.
  6. I would probably agree with that. Also to be taken into account is the low net spend he's achieved it with, which makes it even more impressive - KK and SBR were both well backed financially, and didn't have to compete against ridiculous billionaire's toys like Chelsea and Man City either. Kind of agree, however I think it's wrong to say "the low net spend he's achieved it with" as clearly Pardew has next to nothing to do with who we buy or for what price. What he does have is a very good squad of players that he has to try to get the best out of. Imagine Ben Arfa playing under KK or SBR man... one things for sure he wouldn't be warming the bench.
  7. To be fair most of the time a linesman will give that as over the line, but from the angles shown it looks a good decision. No way can anyone say for sure that the whole of the ball crossed the whole of the line. Apart from Robbie fucking Savage. Match of the Day really is so fucking shit, the 'expert' pundits just resort to shit quips and stereotypes and opinions on games they haven't even fucking watched, or incidents where the videos show something else entirely.

No offence but some people here are talking pure bollocks like. He set up the first goal, set up the third, won a penalty and hit the post twice in 90 minutes. If theres any problem, it's how we (read Pardew) are using, or not using him.

I'm a bit drunk but still I've just been thinking, how many players in world football could come off the bench and then with there first touch of the ball from out wide cause so much havoc in the box and even when falling set up a great chance? Granted Messi balah blah, but I'm talking about a player that I/we get the pleasure of seeing in our colours. Thats not to mention the other 10 minutes of brilliance. It looks to me as if we have been trying to bulk him up ala Ronaldo / Bale. The thing is we need to actually play him. How anyone can have watched those 10/15 minutes and not seen that he's fired up and ready to be given a full game is beyond me. I want us to find a place for Ben Arfa in our team, and to build a team around him if needs be, I just don't like having our most exciting player sat on the bench, especially when he's seemingly fit and hungry and on form. I just want Pardew to think more along these lines. Really hope he starts against Stoke.
  12. Just seen his record since joining us is 14 goals in 74 games. Nearly 1 in 5. That's a pretty good return for a midfielder.
