Tbf he did say worst case but still
-
Carver was worse but I can't possibly hate anyone more than Pardew.
-
I'm embarrassed that he's at the club. Can't honestly say I'm pleased for him. Can't support Ashley's club. It's the antithesis of what a sporting institution should be.
-
The Mike Ashley effect. We're now years behind clubs like Leicester, even if Ashley was to leave tomorrow and we became the richest club in the world. He absolutely hates the club, it's fans and the wider region.
-
Agree with all of this. I've even pretty much stopped taking pleasure in them losing now and just feel nothing. Bruce is irrelevant, the club dies a bit more each day it's owned by Mike Ashley.
-
Pundits talk about us like we’re some League Two minnow. It’s bizarre. Have you forgotten who owns us? We might as well be League 2 minnows tbf

I'd be interested to know who was the more highly rated during their time in the academy?

I must have turned away and missed it. What did he do that was so fantastic? Not the awful header? Controlled a difficult ball under pressure in defence, took the ball away from two players before releasing a potentially goal scoring opportunity by a raking long pass which was only cut out by an alert Scmheichel who raced off his line to intercept it just in time. Do keep an eye on the game, I don't want to have to explain everything you miss. Oh I did see that. Didn't think it was worthy of a comment such as yours though I'm afraid

But at the same time the vast majority took exception to the protests against Pardew. Paully is dreaming if he thinks those same fans would be on Bruce's back, or that Ashley would listen even if they were. He'd just laugh his tits off and hand him an 8 year contract.

Great finish from Vardy. Unlucky.

Because the very issue of whether or not the takeover is still ongoing is very much open to debate. This is the purpose of the thread. It’s like someone telling posters that they can only post in the Longstaff thread if it’s positive. It's fucking ridiculous isn't it, theres even a thread specifically for only positive posts, and they still cry if someone says something they don't like On another note, just rename this thread the Whitley Mag thread, close it and be done with it. He's so deluded and posts so often I'm starting to think he has something to do with these NCSL idiots. Wraith is pulling Liam Kennedy's strings. To laugh at Wraith for being an idiot but not see he's pulling the wool over your eyes would be ironic in the extreme.

It would be nice if NCSL got a lawyer, or someone less deluded than Wraith, to write their letter to Boris. Heres some snippets: "unless you have been there and shared the uniqueness of the place and its people with their unrivalled characters then it may be difficult for you to understand the fighting spirit that Geordies possess" "myself and a fellow director received a solicitor's letter from the most unscrupulous and distasteful organization known as the Premier League" "the two fans they saw as weak and easy picking will now unleash the support of a whole fanbase of 100,000+ disillusioned and angry football supporters" "we believe as homeowners and voters we are allowed to nominate our destiny" And Boris will laugh at this one - "when a wealthy, arrogant bully tells you not to do something, then in my book you do it twice as much, and twice as hard" It's fucking waffle. Fair play to anyone naive enough to think this has a chance of succeeding. But if NCSL have paid for "top lawyers" why are they still sending out badly written, cliched tripe?

Didn't watch. Gotta laugh at the result though Makes zero difference to Bruce's job safety getting a result or getting hammered as Ashley doesn't care about competing. I'd rather they got hammered anyway though. Joelinton doing what he does best I see

Bruce is as shit as it gets (and he's proving to be a massive cunt to boot) but that's exactly what Ashley wants. He didn't want Rafa and his ambition to improve the club. Out of interest what happened to "if Rafa goes we go". The club is dead to me.

He got the attention and clicks he was looking for with his earlier claims. Now he's backing down by the looks of things. Predictable really.
