How can they possibly have more confidence than when they said "its a matter of days away". 6 months ago. That line is an obvious lie. While everyone would like to believe what these "sources" are hinting at, their track record is abysmal. Why should we believe these people now, honestly? All I can see is them pulling out of legal action citing time constraints or some other excuse (they've already laid the groundwork for this). I'd be amazed if this goes anywhere.

I can see both sides here. You are correct in that they are not there to get Ashley out, however the recruitment drives they embark on when anger against Ashley is at it's height, in turn attracts lots of fans who do want them to attempt get Ashley out / believe that is part of their aim. I feel they need to be clearer in regards to what they are asking people to sign up to. And that isn't an attack on them.

Don't know. I joined up about 18 months ago. Didn't renew my 1 year subscription but they still gave me voting rights at the last round of elections. Does anyone know what's happened to the £40k or whatever they've taken from the 15,000 lifetime and 1 year memberships they sold? In the Trusts bank account...... Then every year NUST produce annual accounts to show what the money is spent on, what's in the bank etc. Then they are professionally audited by a chartered accountant. Then they are submitted to the Financial Conduct Authority. Can you reveal if the trust are still in touch with consortium, not asking you to reveal details but would be interested to know ? Alex has spoken with Amanda Staveley previously a number of times, she knows where he is if she/they want to get in touch again. Any thoughts as to why she has not been in contact? She asked the fans to tell the PL it was unfair, which NUST to their credit did/tried to do. Surely she would have thanked you and kept you informed of proceedings?

To be fair I don't think he was trying to be inconspicuous. What he said is right though, the consortium have publicly announced they are no longer interested. If they were interested again, they could say so. That they haven't should be a wake up call to some in here.

About Miggy?! Yeah he is very overrated on here and by fans. Broke the transfer fee at the time for him at the time and hes nowhere near worth it. I don't care about a top half finish though. I want my football club back Yeah me too, but when Rafa was managing us I tolerated Ashley a lot more than I do now. If Ashley had of gave Rafa the money he gave Bruce for transfers we'd be in a lot better position now and Ashley would just be in the background. Ashley wouldn't give Rafa the money or tools needed, that's the point. No desire to compete or improve. Lets say we get rid of Bruce and get someone a bit better. Ashley will just hamstring them like he did with Rafa anyway. We will never consistently strive to improve under Ashley, so it's pointless talking as if we can.

Whilst the article is correct in a sense, Ashley's the problem, not Bruce. Who would be happy with slightly better football, but still no intention to compete or improve? This club is so fucked.

I agree I just want some positive news. Positive - it's nearly 2 weeks since Mimms said cans in a few weeks. Mimms clearly has a source. If the source was telling the truth good news should be just around the corner.
