Not a fan of the Saudi colours. Similarly I found the Portugal colours Wolves wear cringey. Perhaps they’ll sell a load in Saudi but I can’t see it being a big hit here. Anyway, it was suggested this would happen.

Got to say, they all need thanking a great deal for the job they’ve done in stabilising us. They appointed the correct manager at the right time which was vital in keeping us up. The 100 mill on signings definitely helped but the single biggest factor was Howe. For me anyway. Staveley & Mehrdad in particular should be giving themselves a hearty pay on the back for the job they’ve done also.

I’ve bought a couple of things from the club shop recently (for the first time in years) and I’m impressed with the quality from Castore. The gear is decent. I get what you’re saying re distribution networks but they’ve grown quite rapidly. They sponsor Cricket South Africa & the West Indies as well as some rugby union sides and McLaren F1. They’re a new brand but certainly not small time.

Juve’s first ever strip was pink I believe, so they wore a special edition pink shirt for the match.

I’m still pretty concerned about centre backs. Should’ve been our priority. We’ve definitely improved, so I’m not complaining, and I get that our main targets Carlos and Botman didn’t happen. I just pray Burn and Targett will be enough to stop us shipping so many goals.

I’m not feeling it with him either, from the admittedly very little I’ve seen of him. I’ll trust in Howe & Co though. Probably one for the future.
