I hope this is all a ruse and the club intend to pull the plug at the last minute like they did with Lingard,

Pathetic deal, we have been pushovers when it comes to outgoings, deal makes us weaker and gives Man Utd a better second choice than us. We get back an almost 35 year old goalkeeper that we won't be able to sell.
This is all Dubs throwing his toys out the pram as it make no sense for the club to do the deal otherwise.

We seem to have a free run at Tielmans as arsenal are in for another midfielder. May help knock the price down a bit.
He'd be a great addition - no brainer imo if we can get him.

I'd chuck Isak in. At least we'd have some fret in behind.
Same- he's match fit.

Watch him be on the bench

Please make it happen- we need that lift today with so many key players out

He'll play at least 10 times for us more than likely, including in Europe. How many games would he have got for you?
All the cup games for a start

Some scouce probably sitting on the form until 18:45

Doesn’t sound like anything major will happen given what Eddie said in the prematch press conference
Maybe a hammering at Liverpool may change that. We've no squad depth at all. I understand FFP but there was a real opportunity to push on that I feel is being missed but not addressing the issue

Howe didn't sound too happy about it this.
All Dubs this - he may play a few more games but I very much doubt a lot.
-
Squad depth is evaporating - first Dubs then this ☹️ Gutted for the lad.

The application has been submitted to the home office, it’s completely out of the clubs hands.
Didn't think it took that to get WP

Eddie has all but confirmed that business is done

What do we think? I've a feeling we will see outgoings but no incomings.

If they'd equalised and we lost on penalties, I doubt you'd be happy because at least he didn't bring Bruno on.
We were winning - if we were chasing the game then fair enough. We had already had half the team kicked to bits wasn't necessary to bring him on.

I suspected in January there was something up between Howe/Dubravka/Newcastle because we were being linked with goalkeepers straight away, which was odd and then we went in for Pope/Henderson very quickly.
Perhaps it wasn't personal, maybe Dubravka wanted a new contract and club said no, perhaps he had gotten wind of Man United early and they unsettled him, perhaps Howe doesn't trust his injury record. Whatever it is, the wheels have been in motion since January.
Yes, going from Dubravka to Darlow is a slight loss in quality but we are talking a number 2 goalkeeper here, its something we can think about in January. I'm sure our scouts can find a talented young keeper we can develop.
It sounds like Dubs is forcing their hand - Eddie has said he doesn't want him to go but that it is out of his control. I don't believe the owners are pushing for the sale to go through it sounds like all the pushing is from the player.

Take the cups seriously but not with our best players!!!11
It's not even that - it was clear Tranmere's game plan was to knock seven bells out of us. Just don't risk your best player in a game that you are already winning.

He was struggling at the end of the City game, but I assumed/hoped he was just very tired.
That's to cover for Eddie's stupid decision to bring him on against Tranmere.

I don’t know how good he is but that is a massive fee.
Show's what a good deal we got on Bruno

Wasn't meant to be

We have 4 keepers we aren’t short in numbers. In fact we have one too many and Howe’s opinion of a back up keeper may differ from others. Personally I’d rather have Dúbravka but just looking at it from how the club might view it. If Dubravka goes there isn’t a chance another keeper comes in
If we sell Dubs then we're short in quality. Darlow isn't a good enough.
