I did think the ref was poor allowed Bournemouth to get away with way too many fouls. Cook is a prime example- I lost count the number of fouls he made. I am not saying this is why we lost but it didn't help us find a rhythm and also could/should have resulted in red. Which could have changed the narrative.

It was like the perfect storm - we just weren't at our best and Bournemouths tactics exploited that to perfection. To a man they were excellent- marked man to man, didn't give our players any space. And when we made a mistake they were quick to pounce and take advantage. They got their tactics spot on.

Their tactic has always been - if the right player is available we'll go for it rather than compromising to getting someone who happens to be available just to make numbers. And let's be fair - it's worked very well - we've the best Defence, Midfield and striker in the league.
