His best performance in a long time. Obviously he missed the sitter just before the goal and the header in the second half from Ben Arfa's first cross, but to get his two shots on goal in the first half showed tremendous technique. First to wriggle free onto his left foot and secondly to get a volley on Sissoko's cross. It was a crap ball, far too much power on it, and in real time, I thought Cisse did sensationally to direct it goalwards.

If pardew survives this then he really is unsackable and here for a long time
Yep.

Working this game and only made a half arsed effort to get it swapped. Gave the ticket to my brother for his birthday present instead
I couldn't even give my ticket away....that's how bad it's got.

The man is clever.
Such a hard decision.

If it's a choice between Hoddle and Pardew it's no contest ....Hoddle all the way.

If Keegan ever got appointed again at NUFC it'd be one of the most delightful days in NUFC's history. He is the greatest legend of the club in the modern era.
Keegan with an unlimited budget...be like the perfect storm.

5-0 win coming.
Remi hat trick
-
8 year contract
-
So he's the next one being touted around.

Such a boring league to watch. No intensity in the games.
-
He'll be warming the bench a lot for the big games
-
How is he out of shape?
He is probably our quickest player over 50 or 100 yards
Imagine how quick he'd be if he lost the weight he's carrying.
-
Can't even be bothered going. My just give my seat away and watch it on tv.

Article has gone. What was the context?

I wonder what it would take for him to get the sack? Lose rest on the games for season? It'd almost be worth it.
Qualify for the Europa League.
Ha....so thats why he picks Taylor.
-
There is no denying Keegan's ability of getting the best out of players.

Am determined to give this lad a chance. So I'm going to give a balanced view:
Created a good chance for Cisse and got into some good positions BUT he needs to toughen up got shoved off the ball far too easily.
You make it sound like a struggle
I remember when Bergkamp signed for Arsenal after a woeful time at Inter Milan. First Season he didn't really settle but then Wenger came and the rest is history. What this lad needs is time and ideally a new manager.

If Ben Arfa was 60% as consistent as Ginola was with his decision making, distribution, etc. Ben Arfa would be in the team.
When you couple poor work rate with giving the ball away, not making or scoring goals...
I think its unfair to judge Ben Arfa on current form, Pardew has messed him around all season, he's in the team, out the team, on the left, on the right, upfront, behind the front two, 10 mins here, 5 mins there..its a joke how he's treated this lad. How is someone meant to build any form. We are safe now so he needs to tell Ben Arfa you are in the team till the end of season, we need you, go out there and do your thing. Give the lad something to fight for.

Why are we even playing this guy? Pardew has shown 0 faith in the lad. A few weeks ago he wasn't even making the bench.
Was wondering the same thing about Taylor.
To be fair to Marveaux I thought he did ok for the short time he was on considering he's barely played.

Don't think Keegan would put up with his work ethic, mind. I'm not on about the lack of tracking back, either.
Ginola didn't have the best work ethic but he managed him superbly.. Just said to him go do what you do best and let the others worry about defending.
-
Who wouldn't be depressed playing for Pardew. He's not a clue how to utilise the lads talents.
Keegan would have sorted him out.
