West Brom just caused me 8 points

Rafa is hiding it well then. But he smiled in his press conference this week Doesn't look happy when asked about transfer window.

I would love to have your optimism. Rafa doesn't look like a man who knows he's going to receive a war chest - he looks more like someone who knows he's getting nothing.
-
I hate MOTD they never show our highlights they always focus on the other team.
-
No Silva - damn it
-
Good to hear Am still going for a draw
-
I think he works well with Lejeune so I think we'll be sold today.
-
He's on the bench so hopefully will come on and score.

The one time I wanted Leicester to win..

We'll I am still going to a draw - Gunners haven't been at their best and we're due a result. -
He doesn't looks interested imo and hasn't found any form. Has he even assisted a goal the season? I can't think of any. Was a stupid tackle to get sent off - the players was going no where.
-
The biggest individual mistake is that Joselu and Diame constantly get picked. In Joselu's defence whilst he cannot hit a barn door, he works hard and tracks back. Unfortunately what we gain in defence we loose in attack as he is just so poor in front of goal. But Rafa wasn't able to buy who he wanted - so we can't blame him for that. He needed players simple as that. Diame I agree he's hopeless but he tends to play the '10' role and I think we're splitting hairs with him or Perez, they're both not suited to the role. But who else would you play there?

I have a feeling the takeover isn't going to happen. I am not convinced he really wants to sell despite what's being said, and that he's playing some game to see if someone offers a stupid amount of money with the new TV deal coming up. If he was genuine wanting to sell IMO he'd have done it by now as with each week the value of the club is just going down. Newcastle was always just a vehicle for him to peddle SD and I can't see why that has changed.

If we can cut out the mistakes we keep making I recon we can grab a draw. Going for 1:1. -
Rafa knew the areas we needed to strengthen - Ashley ignored and that is why we are in this mess - not Rafa. There is no magic wand he can wave, the fact we are not already in the bottom 3 is down to Rafa. Individual mistakes are costing us atm and no manager can account for those.

Clarify millions. I will ask you the same. Put a figure you may assume. Id be thinking 30m budget plus sales of existing players or also reduction of wage structure in loaning our own or selling, this in turn allowing in more expensive earners in on loan. We would need two big transfers, and two big loan transfers. Dont take the p*ss here, but if it is in anyway possible. Shaw on a loan to buy. Batshuayi on a loan. Buy and spend big on a goalkeeper. And spend big on a holding midfielder that can protect theback four and play a bit of football. I think the BIG difference post Ashley would be wages - in that we'll pay more and be able to attract better players. We may not get a 100 Mil but if we got 30 - 50 mil it'd hopefully be enough to buy a couple of decent players to keep us up.
-
Rotting at home What a waste - surprised no one has bought him - sounds like he'd be a free.
-
It's almost as if they only go cause they expect us to win
-
Is he rotting on the bench these days?
-
I don't think we'll get the keys sovereign wealth 'Man City Style' - we're just not that lucky. But 'if' the buyout does happen I think any buyer would be foolish not to give Rafa tens of millions to try and keep us up.
-
We need some serious cash this Jan to stand a chance of staying up. We just lack quality all over the park.
-
He's done nought this season - needs to be sold and someone with a brain brought in. Cannot rely on him to provide the creative spark we're missing.
