  1. 10th in points among GKs last season. At 5.0m, he's a good choice if you're looking to save money. Was more the first 2 fixtures I was thinking about. Think he'll be a good choice for the rest of the season, see Villa doing quite well. Yeah you're right about that.

  3. Qpr still dishing out the big wage packets? Have they not learned. clearly not, could go horribly wrong if they don't go straight back up and they haven't exactly impressed in their first 2 games against meh opposition The difference is Parker will earn his wages... For the position they are in and for where they aim to go it's a great signing... Bit like Nolan going to West Ham... If its more than a 2yr contract then you would be more hesitant... Redknapp will get the most out of him.
  4. Yeah Jack, whaddya have to say to that, Jack?!?! You greasy fuck. You piglet bitch... What utter garbage. Who gives a fuck, honestly.
  5. Feeling good about my midfield of Cazorla, Walcott, Hazard, Kagawa, and Wilshere. Bony and Berbatov up top, will bring in Lukaku if he gets regular minutes.

Johannsson, Brooks, and Bobby Wood (1860 Munich) called-up for the friendly against B&H.
  7. I agree. On paper, they've fit the pieces together really well. Carroll-Nolan works, Diame is a decent CM, and despite their shortcomings, both Jarvis and Downing can deliver crosses with consistency, which Carroll thrives on. They *should* finish top 12 again, probably a bit higher. Tough to play at home and it won't be hard for them to improve on their road record.
  8. Hoping for a result reminiscent of last season's opener. Expecting far less.

  11. + Jarvis. Old school as fuck. Allardyce's wet dream. The squad Pardew wishes he had, unfortunately.
  12. Possibly. IMO, not in any particular order: Mourinho, Wenger, Guardiola, Benitez, AVB, Klopp, Ancelotti, Deschamps and Conte all have some claim to a list of the top managers.
  13. Well, Wenger and Mourinho are both top 5 in the world, let alone London. AVB doesn't lose much by playing second-fiddle to them.
  14. Would make it more intersting.... I also had a thought for one of the leagues Im in.. Maybe we could do it here after this season. Basically if you finish in the bottom half of the league this season, you start off next season in divsion 2...we could have a promotion and relegation battle, the following season. As it gets a bit naff if you just lurking around the bottom with nowt to play for. Yeah, not a bad idea, with new joiners starting in the lower leagues Be quite funny if the "lower division" thrashed the one above them. Any new joiners have to start in N-O div 2 This all sounds eerily familiar...
  15. Get that with some blue shorts and it's a great third kit.
  16. AVB is one of the best managers in the world.
  17. Wtf he so fucking gash He's probably do a number in MLS. Luke fucking Rodgers had a good year playing for them ffs.

U.S. up to #19 in the latest FIFA rankings. Mexico stays at #20, Panama deservedly jumps 11 spots to #40. Costa Rica at #42, Honduras up 12 to #43.
  21. Had 27 in all competitions for Swansea during their last season in the Championship. So at least he knows how to find the net.

  23. Scott Sinclair willing to be 3rd choice winger? If Pardew plays Cisse-Remy up-top (as he's wont to do), I imagine Sinclair would see the majority of starts at LW.
