I'll admit, that above article tells a completely different story than what I had previously assumed about Sissoko. Though I'm not convinced racial stereotyping played any part in his comparisons to Essien and Vieira...that accusation is a bit ludicrous. Seems more like everyone sees something different in Sissoko. I assumed he'd be a box-to-box guy for us, but I haven't seen the kind of defensive play I was expecting (which is not to suggest he's poor defensively...on the contrary in fact). I certainly did not expect him to be such a force on the attack. Guy's got some absolute wheels on him. Not at all disappointed that he's not turning out to be the kind of player I had envisioned, because I'm even more excited from what I've seen so far. It'll be very interesting to see how a midfield troika of Sissoko-Cabaye-Tiote performs...could potentially be quite devastating.

Aye Bimpy is great. Works for both

Yep. I've got a feeling Pardew will play Simpson at RB with Hadiara LB Could very well see that.

You do relise it's going to involve Italians and probably caused by them in anyway case. What is it with your culture with bribes etc? Firstly, im a fan of Italian football, not actually Italian...born and raised in Northumberland Secondly, id be surprised if it does involve Italian clubs as pretty much every game has been investigated over that time period in the Calcioscommesse scandal, something would have probably come out by now. Im sure Juve are clean this time... Thirdly, its like saying what is it with English culture and violence, or Eastern European culture and racism...Its a problem that needs to be overcome but no Country in football is without sin like. Italy just seems to have a niche with this particular area. Look at Berlusconi to get an idea of the direction of football/politics... Well put

Do you even lift bro?

Florenzi looks to be a very good player for them in central midfield as well.

Dempsey is the most talented American player ever, Donovan the most famous, and Reyna arguably the most important. Pope is possibly the best U.S. defender we've seen. It's a shame John O'Brien's career succumbed to injuries, because he might've very well been the best American player. I think Bradley will be a better player than Reyna when all's said and done. He's already the most important player for the national team. And despite the quality in Roma's midfield, Bradley is getting 90 minutes consistently.
-
As well he should. I can't believe Roma's defenders are really this atrocious.
-
Such a poor, wee club. Fanbase has really suffered over the years.
-
It's not Fulham pulling out, it's Roma. Italians never pull out. Ask Balotelli.

Jesus, he's giving £150k a week to charity, what does he have to do to impress you Seriously

Hazard's ban to stay at 3 matches.
-
Of course he will. Doesn't mean he still can't play at a high level.
-
It would be funny, if only to prove to Europeans that he can stay play at their level. Guy is still quality, I watch enough MLS to know that.
