He's doing pretty well, big part of an offense that's firing on all cylinders right now. Portland's midfield 3 of Will Johnson-Diego Chara-Diego Valeri has been strong all season.

Pretty much. Even if they were good friends and Sir Bobby was deeply influential on Mourinho, he's no more or less likely to manage Newcastle because of it.

Timbers are a class organization with great fans. Cali, I think Mr. Arena would have something to say about anointing Porter the best American manager. Montreal beat the absolute crap out of Toronto in the second leg of the Canadian Championship semis last night. 6-0. This team is rolling right now.

Did I miss something...is this not accurate?

Fergie and man utd has been doing this type of thing for years. They've also been winning championships for years.

They're obviously referring to Willo. He only briefly tasted the joys of the Championship but absolutely loved it.

I don't think it would be a bad thing. Roster rules/FFP would be enough to ensure that the Sheikh's NY team wouldn't be the new City, buying players for fun.

2014/15 NUFC Kits - New third kit revealed on page 143

They always tend to look a bit baggier though. I'm sure next season's will be form-fitting as well. -
Can you imagine a 4-4-2 central midfield pairing of Anita and Spearing?

FWIW, it'd be like City's version of Chivas USA. And Chivas currently has 11 non-Americans on the roster. Each team begins with 8 international roster spots, but can trade them away/acquire more. EDIT: Chivas has 10, I was counting Agudelo.

Yeah, the club would be a mixture of City kids on loan, MLS vets, and American youngsters who could move-up to City at some point.

How often do we actually wear the change kits though? Seems like, assuming it doesn't clash with the home team, we wear the stripes at most away games too. -

Gotta frame that shit. This is Wonga FC after all. -
Hell of a lot nicer than the Sunday-league templates we'll have.

Collective Home kit's not that bad. Too much to ask for non-template change and 3rd kits. -
I voted no. Abuse me pls.

Promo from last Saturday's Impact-Fire game I was at: Great atmosphere/support, quality venue. And the game itself was quality, certainly refreshing to see good football after the Newcastle debacle earlier that day. MLS really is a nice little league, love that it's growing as rapidly as it is.

We might "cover the cost" for a single year...but like hell that squad is ever gaining promotion. Not sure if serious, not sure if joking, whatever.

And we've won ten ffs. I'm not expecting us to win any. I reckon we'll get a point at QPR, lose against West Ham and Arsenal. 38 points. I also think Wigan will beat Swansea, lose against Arsenal, draw with Villa and WBA. 37 points. I sure hope you're right.

They aren't at the minute. They are. Of course they aren't, man. They're attacking games and picking up points. That said, they're not gonna win 3 out of 4. So one win will be enough. I'm not confident we'll get even one win. The form over the past few games is some of the worst I've ever seen.

Wigan have been in this position for the last 4 seasons, did it matter to them then that they were behind teams? We finished 5th last season. The past means nowt in the here and now. Over their past 5 league matches, Wigan have drawn Spurs, drawn QPR, lost 0-1 at City, and beaten Norwich. They're not world-beaters, but you'd be hard-pressed to tell me we're in better form at the moment. And the end of season experience absolutely helps them in this. They've staved-off relegation successfully the past few years. The last time we were this far down, we failed.
