  1. The Sunderland Europe part? Thing is, if they win, that might be their season over. Obviously pride and stuff at stake, and they will want to relegate Spurs, and the fans certainly will, and their last home match, but we saw last year with Liverpool winning the league, barely losing all season and then after their triumph lost 3 or 4-1 to Chelsea as they weren't arsed as it was job done.#
  2. Moving on to the FA Cup now. Any preference here? Chelsea have Tottenham and Sunderland last 2 games of the season, so could do with them doing well in both matches, so not sure if it's better for them to win or lose here from that perspective. Normally I'd be wanting Man City to win to potentially free up a European place, but that doesn't apply to us now, and would be awful if Sunderland somehow capitalised on that.
  3. Should be more than 7 mins. Wouldn't have complained if that goal didn't happen, mind.
  4. Should be about 10 mins injury time. Possibly won't be now though...
  5. Hearts need to do a Pope, and take the sting out of it a bit...
  6. What are Hearts playing at. Can barely kick the ball.
  7. Turning the screw here now. Can't imagine what the Hearts fans must be thinking.
  8. Gonna be a long 11+13 minutes this...
  9. Hearts are going to have no subs left at this rate.
  10. Same difference in terms of what's required for both, but feels Hearts were better off after 40 minutes in terms of mindset and momentum.
  11. Big Brewcie in the crowd (with Nicky Butt). His son is first team coach at Salford.
  12. Grimsby with 2 goals in 3 mins to level their tier on agg with Salford. 2-2 on agg now. Edit, 3-3 on agg. Thought the first leg was 0-1 for some reason, not 1-2.
  13. Northallerton Town have just confirmed they have been reprieved from relegation from Northern League Division One. Prudhoe staying in Divusion two, and no move for Kendal. Division 1 running with 22 teams, Division 2 with 20.
  14. Non league allocation day today, so there will be a lot of relieved and disappointed clubs later once they learn the league they are playing in next year. I'm hoping that Prudhoe stay in the Northern League (despite finishing 2nd bottom) and that Kendal are moved to the North West Counties league, which they are desperate for, but probably unlikely.
  15. Na, a lot of leagues in Europe follow a similar format. The top clubs in Belgium, Austria and Switzerland all have to face each other 4 times in the league campaign, and that's just off the top of my head. Probably a few others as well. Edit - Denmark too. None of the big 5 leagues do, but then the SPL isn't really in the same bracket as those, and is probably more aligned with the aforementioned smaller leagues which don't consist of 18-20 teams.
  16. Fuck off if this is a penna.
  17. No probably about it, it's pretty clear stuff.
  18. They are currently -6 behind, but they play each other. If Celtic win 3-0, they get +3, Hearts get -3. Not sure if I'm being whooshed.
  19. Nope, 3-0 would mean Celtic win on goals scored.
  20. Hearts 3-0, but that alone makes no absolutely difference (unless they got a 4th), Celtic would still need to win 3-0 on Saturday as it stands.
