Yeah, it's usually a tough place to go the City ground, they haven't lost in their 5 games there this season, and had a few scalps last season, but Villa were slight odds on faves, so it's fantastic that they not only didn't win, but lost. Our odds yesterday were like 9/5 or 18/10 vs 17/10, very marginal underdogs, so you could have expected Villa to win and us to either lose or draw and then the gap would have been 7 or 8 points, and looking huge, but as it is, it's only 2. Not too fussed about this next match, fully expect Liverpool to win, and do think they will comfortably finish above us this season, even though they are only 3 points ahead as it stands. Probably won't bother watching it to be honest, but that Villa result, Brighton dropping points, and us obviously winning is more than fine for me this weekend - hopefully Chelsea get something tomorrow.

Tielemans having a tough time in his brief cameo.

You've seen the Forest now fuck off home
-
Forest have been heroic at the back, especially that lad beginning with N who gave away the late pen against us.
-
I was going to say similar, but I was waiting for full time to post .
-
I was going to say Forest could have done with a 'Pope injury', to calm things down, but seems they have a genuine injury.
-
Kind of feels a matter of time before they get one back.
-
They were 2-0 up late on at home to Luton a couple of weeks ago and drew 2-2, and then obviously 2-0 up vs Man U and lost, so a long way to go yet, but even a draw wouldn't be too bad if Villa pulled a couple back, although obviously hope they get nothing.

It's on YouTube.

It'll probably at least be on nufc.co.uk, but hopefully it will be on YouTube as well as it's a much better service. I'll probably have it on in the background, and more in the foreground if Villa go a couple of goals up in their simultaneous match with Forest. Shame it didn't clash with Luton vs Liverpool instead as can't really be bothered ith that one.

0-3 now and surely game over. Although Bburn are down to 10 men now, so maybe a bit of hope. Helps from a neutral perspective, but bizarre to even risk that when so comfortable.

Agree with most of what you say here, but can't look past the bold

Norwich are so poor. Looking like this could be their 7th defeat in 9 league games, currently losing 0-2 at home to Blackburn at half time. They are a 2nd year parachute team as well and have a lot of 8 figure signings all over the park, but it's not going well. Looks like Wagner will be on borrowed time, especially as their Sporting Director is currently on gardening leave, with a new man coming in a few weeks.

Things can change quickly, after 4 games and the 3-1 loss at Brighton, we were already 6 points behind them, we both won out next two matches, so the gap remained 6 points, after 6 games, but in the last 5 matches, they have picked up just 3 points (and no wins), whereas we have picked up 11 (and obviously no defeats), gaining 8 points on them and now 2 points clear of them. Even lower down the table, I was just saying a few weeks ago that there does seem to be a better 9, and then probably West Ham would be most likely to finish 10th. 3 games ago West Ham were 7 points clear of Brentford, but Brentford have won their last 3, West Ham lost their last 3 and they are now below Brentford, so while they are currently doing very well, it could sharp change for the likes of Spurs and Villa too.

I noticed the grin after the pen miss, and assumed the Welsh lady must have been a Cardiff fan, but turns out Abigail Davies is actually a big Swansea fan, her Twitter handle is even Swanabi, so pretty bizarre. Unless she was purposely trying hard to be the opposite of biased, especially against a side who will have one of the larger followings in that league.

Don't think there's been any word of the home match being on nufc.co.uk / YouTube tomorrow, so assume it won't be streamed?

Sociedad have had 3 very good chances inside 3 mins.
-
A few people have mentioned the Copa Libertadores on TV at 8pm, but Real Sociedad vs Barcelona is on ViaPlay Xtra, also at 8pm, which is a free channel for most (used to be FreeSports).

Feels an Arse goal isn't too far off.

Yeah, that was my thinking - I'd imagine there will be a lot more doing similar, but on the other hand, Leicester and Leeds are obviously 'bigger' clubs, and will have bigger fan bases. Leicester with their recent trophies and European adventures, and Leeds with the city and general bigger stature, plus probably more rival fans watching in hope they get beat. I guess there's also the factor that some may only subscribe to 'Sky Sports Premier League' which and wouldn't have access to tonight's match, but all things equal, it would be interesting to see which match would do better.
-
Looking forward to Leicester vs Leeds tonight. It has a big feel to it, and feels particularly important to the visitors - a win would be huge and would set down a marker for automatic promotion and be a big statement, but if they lost they would still be 9 points off second, and having played 2 extra matches. Hypothetically, had it have been say Luton vs Bournemouth in the PL instead, which do you think would have done the better numbers on Sky?

0-0 at half time, but it's pretty much all been Ajax and they have missed some great chances. Volendam had a couple of corners near the end, but it's largely been a case of them hanging on, and they do very much look like the plucky 11/1 underdogs. I think Kuol's replacement Johnson has touched the ball once, and suspect it would have been similar if Garang had been on, but hopefully he will get some minutes in the second half. Mola TV is really good, especially for a free app. English comms and can get it to full screen, so just like watching on FreeSports or something.
-
Kuol on the bench for Volendam tonight. The lad Johnson, who replaced him at half time the other day, starts. I've just downloaded Mola TV again so will have it on in the background again.
