  1. Do you think our out of touch coaching setup is responsible for all of these injuries? If I actually wanted us to win I would be so pissed off with the amount of injuries we seem to be getting. In terms of the game I would love to see something ridiculous like a 5 or 6 nil defeat, I really think that could do the trick. And if it doesn't I hope Hull turn us over at SJP, with Ben Arfa in the stands getting a standing ovation.
  2. Just incoherent. This thread needs to get back on track. So, Pardew. Give him another year to sort things out and get the team playing his way, right? His hands and tied behind his back mate, hes doing a great job with the resources available to him, name me one other person who would work under Ashley under the restrictions in place and still give us front foot attacking football with the promise of mid-table. Its our level and we should be over the moon with that, after all we were £1.50 away from doing a Leedsmouth.
  3. Before the latest goings on regarding Pardew I would have said an easy 2-0 defeat but I just have a feeling he'll spawn his way out of it and we'll pull off the most boring and undeserved 1-0 or 2-1 the world has ever seen. IN PARDS WE TRUST they'll say.
  4. Theres is really nothing he can say to make up for the absolute shambles of a window, but I'm sure he will mention something along the lines of having a cracking window with great backing from Mike and with players coming back to fitness Raylor, Cisse, Tiote etc.... he is still happy overall with the business. And the few remaining mongs will lap it up.
  5. Would love it if someone managed to get a massive banner smuggled into the stadium with the website name on.
  6. Its sad that it's come to this but I agree with every single word. Well said
  7. That comment in the ronny gill comments section from Ian
  8. Amusing that the "but 5th" brigade have now turned to the "but who else decent would manage us?" which is now slowly developing into "whats the point we've still got Ashley" The pro Pardew brigade are running out of excuses, just like their hero.
  9. Best thing about INT breaks is that it's easy to forget just how terrible we are. Hell no we're not going to win. It would be just our luck to go on a little winning streak now, perfectly in time to slam the breaks on just as this thing is gathering steam like. Exactly why I'm convinced we'll pull off the most boring and undeserved 1-0 win ever at St Mary's.
  10. We're going to beat Southampton aren't we
  11. I like that new posters are coming out and giving their opinions on the situation, welcome to all Happy Pardew hating
  12. Well if the chronicle poll was 85% in favour of him leaving with the amount of mongs who probably buy that then it stands to reason the percentage would be even higher on here, due to most posters being more knowledgeable than the average fan IMO. Still didn't expect 100% though.
  13. Fucking hell people will be scared to vote him to "stay" at this rate even if its what they truly believe. I want the cunt gone more than anyone but if people actually think he should stay, as wrong as I think it is then they should still be allowed to say so without fear of getting lynched on here. Just a thought.
  14. Even for the sheer Pardew hate on here I didnt expect unanimous decision on the poll
  15. "The only way Pardew could be coach for France is if they take his teeth out and put seats in !!!" After someone saying its a good thing Pardew doesn't coach for France. Comment of the day
  16. Had a feeling when he was out at the start of the season he would one of "those" players, bet we only see him in a handful of games by the end of the season. He was relatively cheap though, so injury concerns would have been ignored.
  17. Hull were a newly promoted side with far less resources than NUFC had in 2010, yet survived fairly comfortably while also doing well in cups. That is a fantastic season, however you want to spin it. This season they have been more ambitious in their transfers, and should look to be more expansive and finish higher. We will see what happens. Bruce is perfectly competent, IMO, anyway. He is competent if you support Wigan or Hull. He's not competent enough to manage Newcastle (not a Newcastle being run properly anyway), he wasn't even competent enough to manage sunderland. Would Spurs or Everton give him a job? That's the level we should be aiming for at an absolute bare minimum. Neither would go near Steve Bruce in a million years and rightly so. Just because I hate Pardew doesn't mean I'm going to lower my expectations for the type of manager that should be leading NUFC. Can't argue with that.
  18. I have no doubt in my mind he would have let rip had it been a permanent deal, and probably will do so when the deal becomes permanent after he wins player of the season in Italy (bound to happen)
  19. I do still find it very strange actively wanting to lose tbh, means I'm less into watching the match than ever. Was definitely happier with Palace goals than ours the other day though, but nowhere near as happy as I was with an NUFC goal when I was interested. I was gutted when we were 3-2 up, I just see every win as an extra 2-3 game lifeline for Pardew. Cant get behind that at all. Its just a sad state of affairs all round really.
  20. Putting one of those patches on the shirt would require giving Ashley money for the shirt.
  21. 23-21 in the wanting us to lose category, seems the decision is going to be pretty split on that. The soopafans just cant see it would be for the greater good.
