Agree with all apart from us being "at least" a top 6 side, its true that with a better manager we would be challenging for it, but there are a lot of good teams with good managers being backed up there at the moment. We could finish 10th for the next 3 seasons under this bellend and fans would still be bleating on about it being a "cracking season" and a "realistic finish"

He didnt touch the ball in the first 45 minutes and was half decent for about 5 minutes in the second. People are wanking over him when hes been nowt but average at best in pre-season, some people even going to the lengths of saying hes better than Anita and Tiote. It's not hate at all man, he's just not much good at defending unless you count standing in front of the keeper as defending. Hardly a new thing for our defenders. Is he in the first team right now ? Why is it such a concern for everyone He got a fair bit of game time in pre-season and with a bit of Pardew bumlicking or an injury to Williamson or Colo he will undoubtedly be first choice.

That's all nonsense. The guy is a complete liability defensively who doesn't position himself well and switches off far too often when someone makes a run from behind him. Furthermore, as we don't have a line hugging left winger the width needs to come from the left back, which exposes Santon's reluctance to both hit the byline and cross with his left foot. Haidara is very raw, but he's naturally stronger, quicker, a better defender and also happens to be left footed.

I'm seriously at the point where I'd happily see us lose the first 10 games of the season to get him gone. I feel like I've crossed a line though and many of my friends have encouraged me to just take it for what it is and try and enjoy the games and new signings. As a group we made an agreement not to go back until drastic changes happen, most of the lads have caved in already and have renewed season tickets or bought tickets for the City game.
