We've managed what the rest of the country thought impossible - get beat by this shower of utter shit. Derby County under Allardyce all over again, except this time the Mackems Pardew is absolutely abysmal.

How very neighbourly of us.
-
Tiote Captain man  we have a woeful lack of leadership out there in these kinds of situations, and that really shows it.
-
But they wouldn't be playing us every week
-
Can see us completely unravelling (like, even worse) if they get another here.
-
They really ought not to hate us so much, we're ridiculously charitable to them

If the other option is pretty much immediately reinstating a player who refused to play for my team and has been consistently shit for almost a whole season, I'd be inclined to give Marveaux at least a chance tbh.
-
He's played well before and been dropped when he should have stayed in the team. Exactly. Someone like Obertan has been given repeated chances and blown it, to put Marveaux in the same bracket is ridiculous IMO.
-
I honestly think Marveaux would be regarded as one of our most important players if he was given a real run in the side.
-
Marveaux has never been given a real chance in the team because seemingly Pardew is shit scared of playing him in the same XI as Ben Arfa. He has played brilliant numerous times then just been dropped for no apparent reason, so if he's never given a run in the side he will never establish any kind of consistency.

It's ok because they've brought a football man in now

Parma kits are nice, just way too many sponsors.

Brb just slitting my wrists yeah

That's my opinion pretty much verbatim. Keegan had his flaws, yes. These flaws were/are self-evident and undeniable. I think everyone acknowledges this, even these people who some say 'won't have a bad word said about him'. He's very principled and has strong opinions on how the game should played, and understandably didn't take kindly to players being signed as favours to agents and against his will. I completely believe him when he said that it wasn't like they sold it to him and that he was perfectly justified in walking out. In essence, part of what made him flawed is also what made him a very good manager. He was able to instil this passion into his players and in both stints with us got the best out of the vast majority of them. While he was hardly renowned as being a tactical genius and was berated in some circles for his single-minded focus on attacking play, he certainly knew how to get his teams playing with cohesion and fluidity as a unit, something that our present manager hasn't had a hope of doing for a whole season now. Who knows what could have happened had Keegan been allowed to do his thing here. Maybe it would have went pear-shaped but the way things were going they we were improving rapidly, would love to have seen how things would have turned out but that'll never happen now. I hope the last experience and his feelings towards Ashley and Llambias hasn't soured his opinion towards the fans or the club as a whole because he is practically a deity to those like me who were just growing into football during his first era, especially the 1995-96 season. Might be blinkered but I reckon right now the Premier League needs someone like KK more than it ever has.

It would be amazing if the Russians offered a decent amount of money for that brainless mug Tiote, laughing all the way to the bank.

Saw loads of people saying the new England kit is a bit like a Germany one, how exactly? It's made by Nike not Adidas and doesn't have any black on it like German kits? My mate said it looked like a German kit and I said exactly the same back to him. Looks a lot more like a USA kit if anything. I really like it though.

I absolutely adore Kevin Keegan, those who don't I would suggest aren't old enough to remember what the man has done for us. Without him there is no way we would ever be regarded as one of the bigger names in English football, absolutely no way. Although it ended on a sour note, he did a great job during his second stint here. Allardyce had left us playing shit ugly football heading for relegation. Keegan came in, changed the style and we suffered some heavy defeats but he stuck to his guns and we comfortably survived in the end playing the most enjoyable football we've played since Robson. He also managed to deploy Owen, Martins and Viduka in the same team effectively. So he's saved us from doom twice really, although the second time he kind of just postponed it.

As some others have said, Pardew is here to stay unfortunately and if he's going to insist on playing shit long ball football it might as well be effective so I would welcome him back here IF he stays somewhat clear of injury, which he probably won't.
