Didn't see the game but from the stats it appears Germany absolutely battered them. Think Poland only had 3 shots on goal. That said,Ger v Pol is always going to be a tough game to call and the odds of 1.5 were poor imo. Hindsight and all that but I wouldn't have touched them unless they were 1.8 or higher.

Also it speaks volumes about Pardew as a manager,he's wanting a player to save his arse (see Ba,Cabaye,Remy) because he can't figure out how to get te team to do it via his tactics.
