I wouldn't sign him until his trial is done and only if he's found to be innocent. Some other club will take a punt on him before then though and he won't want to play Championship football until January.
-
If we meet the minimum release then Wigan have to let us talk to Kone. We could offer more but it'd be pointless as its then up to the player to decide, which will be based on wages, signing on fees and the state of the club he's going to.

It's gorgeous. No Wonga logo and reasonably priced. -
Under contract until 2015 ffs.

I for one will be disappointed when we eventually sign "Bag O'Shite" from Derry Town http://t1.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcTTiJLZCfGGaP7zdvvS6zYfkwytHIasxnsnPJ2S0V7tnlX8j7omHQ

Know nowt about the lad but I hope he's brilliant.
-
Yep, can't wait to see him play more games and grow as a player. Still convinced this lad has got a huge future once he is truly bedded in here and adapted to our league.
-
Sounds like he wants to leave respectfully without rocking the boat here too much. Doesn't sound like he agrees with our new policy, interested to hear what it is. A move away from young, overseas players to proven Premiership quality? Doesn't sound good also that already Pardew has been undermined by being made to sell a player he was keen on keeping. We all know how that kind of thing ends.

Free Thiago from his lavish lifestyle at one of the worlds biggest clubs?

In the last two days I've watched Premiership Years 1994/1995 and 1995/1996. Special times.

Is King Kev tenting?

The bloke with the carrier bag? Is that definitely him?

Fair play, sounds intriguing.

Of all the things I'm pissed off at Joe Kinnear for, failing to beat Dortmund to Aubemeyang's signature isn't one of them.
-
We're basically bringing back the hi top fade.
-
Big risk signing Gayle for that amount of money, given how similar signings in the past have went. Beckford and DJ Campbell spring to mind. I don't seem to recall any successes or anyone better than them. [/kinnear]

Definitely agree with you there.
-
His passing range wasn't great, but the amount of opportunities he created with his dribbling skills was great. Looked decent for England in his limited appearances I thought. Had a canny finish on him too, though he wasn't the best at striking the ball.
-
Dyer's level wasn't that great imo. Dyer was quality when he was fully fit IMO.
-
It seemed he was available for plenty of league games last term, but was overlooked by Pardew. I like him, and under another manager he would flourish. He's a creative player with an eye for a good pass, he can run with the ball effectively but he hasn't got the ability to tackle so he will be held back under Pardew.

I think football is moving on from the Darren Bent type of striker, nowadays you need to get so much more from your front men. For the prices being bandied around, he wouldn't be so bad, and he is near enough guaranteed to hit around 10 goals a season in the league. Cisse was on and off and we don't have any other recognised striker on our books who could come in and look like being a threat. I think this signing would push Cisse on too. Healthy competition and all that. Unless Pardew wrongly tries to play both together.
-
I've gone from "we shouldn't sign him, he turned us down for money, his attitude must be bad" to "if he's found not guilty, sign him up". Football fans are so fickle.
-
It's all about who bring in if Perchy is to go. He's massively replaceable, though just how big of a miss he'll be in the dressing room is unknown.
-
Was basically a free loan ffs. Was he awsome in Russia? As he looked out of shape and cumbersome during his return to England.

Rooney is absolute quality, no mistake about it. He'd be a big loss and huge blow to Moyes start as manager if he were to leave this window.
