Dummett on nufcTV: "If I scored against Sunderland I'd be worse than today. I think I'd be running round the pitch taking my clothes off!"
-
Could break one of two of their records Premier League lowest points totals 29 pts - Bolton (95-96) 28 pts - Watford (06-07), Leicester (01-02) 27 pts - Ipswich (94-95) 26 pts - Bradford (00-01) 25 pts - QPR (12-13), Wolves (11-12) 24 pts - Watford (99-00) 19 pts - Portsmouth* (09-10), Sunderland (02-03) 15 pts - Sunderland (05-06) 11 pts - Derby County (07-08) * Portsmouth were deduced 9 points for entering administration

forgot he was playing at times today, another very quiet day
-
Yep, he always seems to be shouting at everyone, which I do like seeing from him. I noticed that as well during the Cardiff game and he did look like the leader in the back. I imagine so, I'd much rather see it go to Hatem (if he starts), Mapou, or Willo. I say Mapou given he was captain of Montpellier, etc. Ben Arfa and Williamson would be terrible captains like.

Yup, scary how limited the options are should we sack Pardew. We could do with a managerial merry go round to give us some better options
-
Just had a look at some of the current unemployed managers (as Ashley probably won't pay for anyone) Roberto Di Matteo Avram Grant Stuart Pearce Tony Pulis Alex McLeish Alan Curbishley Neil Warrnock Gary Megson Martin O'Neil Roy Keane
-
Colo marking thin air, santon showing how poor he is defensively and Krul should have done better
-
In his first two spells as caretaker manager his record is P10 W1 L7 D2 Win% 10%
-
Martin Atkinson the ref Based 60 miles from Hull too
-
West Brom, Liverpool, Man Utd, Swansea & us next 5 games, that takes us to the end of October. If they get beat off WBA they could have 1 point from their first 8 games
-
Newcastle manager Alan Pardew: "We carried a lot of offensive threat. We haven't had enough threat, but we've got it now. Hatem Ben Arfa got a lot of headlines last time he scored against Fulham but I thought he did just OK then. Today he was unplayable. Hatem was on fire today. "He has the ability to hold on to the ball and give us a rest, then burst past one or two players. If he can get consistency not only will he be a threat for us, but a threat for France at the World Cup."

RTF Excuses so far (just from thread titles) 1. Referee's are corrupt 2. Team selection & tactics to blame 3. Poor recruitment 4. No red card for Sagna 5. Disallowed goal

1-1 Benteke Krul was in a jumbo's flight path there, poor goalkeeping
-
this tbh, people complain for the sake of it sometimes

Correct, paperwork has to be at the FA headquarters by the deadline, can do medical later.

I'd take Shane Long for £5m
