There's a big difference between being a fan as a kid and all the way through life and being a fan after playing for and managing different teams for about 30 years

The argument is that offsides are a factual black and white decision so any offside is a clear and obvious error

That goal counts with or without VAR imo. I bet the lino wouldn't have even raised his flag in the pre-VAR era. You might as well do these days, though, because the technology will overturn any wrong decision. Takes the pressure off, I suppose. Seems a heavy price to pay though, if the benefits of the system are revealed so infrequently. That makes no sense. VAR would surely encourage him not to raise the flag if anything

Keane is such a massive weirdo
-
Officials have been awful

Wtf is Lingard complaining about there. Neville is blind also

Arsenal are much better than Man Utd and still aren't very good
-
Chambers is much better on the ball than I remember
-
Howay the VAR
-
Why do they never overturn decisions
-
The ref has been terrible

Arsenal's final ball has been a joke but they seem to be getting on top now

Saka is good. Think Pepe will come good with time

Awful by Dubravka for the second. Red was definitely a red too IMO
-
Completely passed me by that Balotelli went to Brescia. Scored against Napoli this morning

Don't think that's Keogh in the pictures of the injury

He was a solid championship defender. So weird that he doesn't drive according to that article

No, just seems that if it's close some people think it can't be given as offside, even if it is. My issue is this level of semantics and close inspection when it should boil down to was any advantage gained from someone being a few cms offside, the law was made to stop goal hanging not to be nitpicky b******s But defences are built around the defensive line now. Any "benefit of the doubt" rule would just result in defences sitting deeper IMO

They're appealling it too

He's 28 tomorrow so you were basically right

Atsu and ASM are looking better at the moment like

What happened? Did the vid get removed? He was out on the lash for freshers week (first year uni students) and took a lass back to his, and she snap chatted the whole thing. Don’t really care about the girl but why is he going out getting smashed this early into the season? Rafa would have bollocked him and dropped him Not sure that's completely true like. I was over for a game in the championship season and saw Shelvey, Clark and Daryl Murphy out on a Sunday after a game Were they out getting wrecked? I just don't think its very professional for a 28 year old footballer to be out with a bunch of 18 year olds getting smashed when we are in the s*** this season. Nolan, Barton did it the season we went down. Paul Dummett being 28 is amazing Feels like he's about 24. It's a bit creepy more than anything else to be trying to pull an 18 year old at that age. I don't think Dummett would be near the Premier League if he wasn't a great professional and Rafa's comments on the previous page back that up.
