We had a pretty poor squad but we still had Dubravka, Lascelles, Lejeune, Perez, Kenedy, Shelvey. Considering Rafa didn't get it for finishing 10th, it's a big no from me. Because the two situations are exactly the same etc. I didn't say they were, but I was implying that finishing 10th with a similar, possibly worse squad is a better achievement than Cardiff staying up, which it is, comfortably. Also I’ve quite enjoyed Mourinho getting lauded for getting 0-0s away in Europe and then losing the second leg which the away goals rule has helped with IMO

It is shit but I still think its a better way of deciding a game than penalties, and it also encourages teams to try to score away from home rather than going for a 0-0.
