He isn't gash most of the time though. Losing the ball a lot doesn't mean you're gash, it means you're trying to do something when you have the ball. Perez has not been consistent at all this season and has done a lot less than Sissoko overall

What's ironic about it? Sissoko is consistently our biggest/only creative threat

Aye it's fucking hilarious how somebody could think that the player that creates 90% of our chances is better than a guy who has had a pretty poor season bar a few moments of magic

Sissoko and Wijnaldum are better IMO

Aye Dembele's going to leave Spurs where he's starting every week for a team that will probably get into the Champions League for us who are looking likely to get relegated. Seems plausible

They were dropped when the whole team were playing poorly because we had two decent replacements at the time and we don't in any other position. You can't have any complaints when you're dropped for playing poorly

He's very good on the ball but thought he was poor in the air and maybe not aggressive enough. Has to improve a lot yet

He was part of the problem there though, he wasn't chasing anything. Mitrovic put him to shame in terms of chasing lost causes and going after a game we looked like we'd be well out of early doors. I'm not saying run about like an absolute spacca but he seemed to cut ties with the game once we'd had a dodgy start. Like I say I wouldn't be surprised if he was off soon, the way he was moping about. Maybe irrelevant but I thought when he was coming off that he seemed to go out of his way to ignore McClaren

He takes his man on plenty. Think he's actually pretty in form

Honestly think he's a better player than Wijnaldum, not sure how that's going to go down here

That is a fair point but I've seen Mitrovic miss four big chances in the last three games alone, two of them absolute sitters. We need someone better than that and should have bought as such. Can't understand the signing given the amount of money we put towards it, same with Thauvin. If we were actually prepared to spend money this summer I cannot understand why we didn't get better players. They'd cost more money. We only wanted the illusion of ambition, not real, expensive ambition. Could easily get a better striker for 13m or whatever he cost
