He should get a chance like, but Ajax are a far cry from where they were years ago. Barely better than Celtic. It's fairly obvious he was a good player at one stage like but I'm not sure he is anymore. The only way to find out is to start him a few times though. How many starts does he have for us?

This is what people always say about players that aren't playing. From what I've seen he's very slow and has no aggression(probably due to his injuries) while being a good player technically

if that's in reference to townsend remember he can't perform consistently in a spurs team with better players, a defined system and plenty of attacking intent cut inside and shoot wouldn't be much use to us when he'd be doing it on our halfway line faced by 6 defenders Haven't seen him play in ages like but one thing I would say is that he might thrive in a more counter attacking set up where he has space to run on the counter rather than playing for Spurs where they generally try to control the game and he doesn't have the technical ability required to do well in that type of system perhaps, but we're shit on the counter as well the only thing we appear capable of doing with the ball is passing it to big vurn back and forth quite a bit without losing it Colo, Mbemba and Anita put together some class passing moves tbf
