  5. doesnt for me, it's still really slow
  6. 5 things we've learned about Lejeune. 1. it's 'luh-junn'
  7. Bassogog. Noted it earlier, his acceleration is mental. 0-100 instantly Just had a look at him, see who he plays for etc He was born in 1995 apparently (meaning he was between 19-21 on this pic) http://i.imgur.com/0pDPvPh.jpg
  8. ex-player here at the funeral says heart attack, but seems to be doubting it, questioning.. china http://as.com/videos/2017/06/16/en/1497626049_467756.html?autoplay=1
  9. If it's not a foul but the ref went to VAR, he gave the advantage and opportunity to the attacking team. If it turns out not to be a foul (or a dive), just give a free kick to the defending team where it incident was imo
  10. Some ex and current players carrying him (Bony obvious) http://ichef.bbci.co.uk/onesport/cps/800/cpsprodpb/BC53/production/_96511284_tiote-reu.jpg also shows how much he was liked in the football world
  11. Is he not being played on by their left back (out of view)? There's only 3 defenders there. The LB is the one right in front of him (whoever it is playing the ball)
  12. eh Imagine it's a WC final and the linesman calls that offside. Ref can do nowt. With this, they got the correct decision and with experience it'll get quicker Literally cannot see the problem like A world cup final decided on that shite aye, much better it being decided by a linesman giving a blatantly wrong decision with the ref powerless to do owt about it

  14. Took 1 minute, was watching the clock. Good decision again

  16. leh-joon? leh-joo-ney? luh-jenn? This will be fun

  18. nah, clearly nowt wrong with the goal
  19. ffs Cant say its not deserved though tbf
  20. Should only be used for offsides that lead to a goal in the same phase of play I assume If an attacker is through and the linesman isnt 100%, he should leave the flag down and if a goal/corner comes of it (if not, you'd assume the defending team will have the ball back anyway), go back to VAR. The Portugal one earlier is going back a bit too far imo. Linesman should have spotted them offside anyway, there was like 4 of em What I mean is though if a linesman puts up his flag and the ref whistles and then someone scores that was actually onside, you can't really count it as a goal as the other team will have stopped playing Aye, would hope the linesmen will be told to keep the flag down and let the play develop? If they put the flag up and it's actually onside, the call must be close. Teach them that for calls that close, keep it down fuck knas tbh Work in progress like has been said. Just thinking out loud here

  22. Time from the ball going in the net to kick off is probably more than a minute currently anyway. Where's the delay?
  23. Fair enough, 's all opinions and that. For me it's fine, the correct decision comes before a minute of waiting. If they show the video refs, or what they're seeing, the short wait we have won't even feel like a wait. By the time the celebrations are done and players are back in their half ready for kick off, the decision can be done
  24. Aye it's obviously offside, it never needed to be perfect though. That s**** isn't good for the game. So it's ok for tight offside's to be incorrectly called? Ive always maintained yes. End of the day offside was only brought in to stop goal hanging. If a defence is going to live off an offside trap which ultimately shrinks the game then I say let them die by the sword occasionally. Attacking team should always get the benefit of the doubt if there is any. Not followed the full thread but with regards to that image posted I'd want that to be deemed onside. So really your problem is with the offside rule, not VAR. You're basically suggesting any part level with a defender = onside
