As silly as this sounds I think full back is a very important area in Howes system. He’s like them to overlap and get balls into the box so I can see why he’s going for this.

Let’s sign up some of the technical staffs scouts and what not from the likes of Lille, Atalanta Sevilla etc. To be sustainable we will have to get these players in much younger and cheaper in the future.

That’s the thing though KI, so your argument is basically our players have regressed so much to the point the manager can’t add value? And everyone else has gotten that much better on top of it? It’s just a stretch for me that’s all. As some have pointed out I don’t feel our squad is much different to the other dregs and that come the end of the season Howe will have had enough time for us to make a decision about his future (get rid if relegated for me).

@ManDoonhas spoken on it before. It can’t be Bruce is awful and so is the squad as we would have been long since relegated. I do believe Bruce to be a completely garbage mind.

If that’s the case we were absolutely mental to get rid of Bruce as he managed to get some points out of them.

We can average it to PPG if that suits. The point is clear his mandate was to keep us up, he’s had the backing of all parties so far but if he fails he should be dismissed. Nothing against him personally or even that he’s a bad manager but he would have failed if we go down.

This post makes no sense in the context of my question. Bruce is an absolute fraud imagine getting 10 points less than him? i so get it; Howe says the right things and isn’t a total cunt but ultimately it’s points that count.

So people would be happy with him getting say 10 points less than Bruce and giving him even more time?

It’s more due to rewarding failure which is something we did consistently. If this season plays out with safety resulting in a Low points haul then Howe has no excuse. But that’s for future, I think most of us are behind him, but let’s not mistake that with us owing him anything.

If we go down he should be dispatched imo. Would love Rafa back personally BUT with some conditions. We have to become forward thinking so he would have to work within a structure.
