It’s ok lads this is imminent so we will know any minute now.

Odysseas Vlachodimos 30 Club has not confirmed, but believed to be 2029

I wouldn’t expend too much energy on things which aren’t going to happen if I were you. They might get some money for the surrounding area but for the stadium no chance.
-
That isn’t going to happen.
-
They are in USD680m worth of debt before they build a new stadium and training ground, they better pray for low interest rates.

If he wants to start every week not really? He's 34.
-
These Turkish clubs should engage the brain, why on earth would we ever loan him out?
-
Imminent got a different definition @ NUFC.

Like It or not, it will be two sporting directors in the span of 3 years with murmurs of power conflicts to boot, why would anyone elite want to sign up for that? Let's not forget we couldn't even get a mid table sporting director before Mitchell came in.
-
If he goes, we will have zero chance of replacing him with someone of the same calibre.
-
Don’t worry, we are not buying him.

He loves giving the PL a good professional smack.

Also not legal a hard cap on wages is a no no and PFA would be launching legal action (rightfully so).
-
Can ya paste the relevant bit? I don’t want to give DM clicks

I totally understand why yourself and many others hold this view but when I think of the power dynamics at play I just don’t see that outcome. I only see it being brought down by some form of legal challenge. The PL is a gravy train and most clubs do not wish to rock to boat and upset the likes of Man United and Liverpool as these clubs are cash cows.

Lots of respect to Villa for banging this drum. The fact what he’s saying is all true makes it even more mind bending that these rules exist in the first place.
-
To me yes it is, because most executives close ranks when such failures occur. Also despite the Tai chi impressions he was responsible for carrying out the plan.
-
Of course they will take from members, again the PL is owners by the clubs and they are following through on rules which the majority of clubs have enacted.
-
What?
-
The interesting thing is, one of them is lying
-
Much more balanced take on his discussion on the athletic btw.

This is the point of the rule; nobody in the league wants fair competition because that’s bad for business. In case you had any doubts the league is a business to these people, it’s only a sport to us fans.
