  1. @NeilCameron5 An absolute disgrace to journalism. Retweeted To be fair to Neil, he has to write that drivel or how else would he get that exclusive with Charners, "One in a lifetime opportunity"
  2. My favourite part is he hadn't given up until he went to Hull Aye because Brucey is so adept at getting anything out of anyone.
  3. If you watched NUFC in the 70's and 80's it most certainly is. I did and it isn't. HAHAHAHAHA Jesus wept Aye, he's right, it is SOOO much worse right now than standing in the rain with p*ss running down the steps watching Glen f***ing Keeley or John Bird at centre half. I was around for most of the 80's so I understand what you're saying, but what I don't understand is why you're arguing about who was worse. It's like arguing about which STD is worse or about which is the best way to die. Are you saying you would like to keep Ashley? But I'm not arguing about who is worst, just that I have seen it worse and so I do not get myself all distraught about today as I've been through way worse than this. In terms of Ashley, I'd much rather have an Arab state, or some such, owning us than Ashley but then again I'd rather have Ashley than a Vincent Tan or a Venky or a Ridsdale etc etc. It's always the extremes with some people
  4. Rangers pack isn't going to last is he
  5. Aye floated this earlier. Imagine him making us both his personal timeshare. 6 months in Newcastle and 6 months in glasgow. 2 for 1 deal Rangers are his second branch of Sports direct FC
  6. That won't touch anywhere near the sort of money we currently drive towards his SD empire. how much would a decent rangers be worth? it wouldn't be anything near what a premier league club can generate, £100 million tops, and he will have enough power to get what he wants from them without owning them, he's got them by tha ballls now and only owns 9% That's what I mean. For all the talk of Rangers success leading to Ashley to sell us I think it's far more likely that once they are re-established he can sell them for a profit, or at the very least with MA owning all the juiciest rights for all eternity. Only move that makes sense. Not sure it'll work mind.
  7. Mirallas going the other way? Saw something about Spurs being interested in him earlier today. That would be monumentally stupid on Everton's part if that were the case. BBC didn't mention anything about that though. Not happening (the Mirallas to Spurs). Good piece of business from Everton, Lennon isn't the best player, but he's decent enough. We've never actually seen Lennon at his best at any stage in his career sadly. I can't see Martinez having the time and patience to hang his hat on him and build his confidence either.
  8. It's settled - the thread stays. Busting the chops of Ian W aside, it is. Aye I know mate. Another visible link to that fat cunt blights this place

  10. Aye, the state of NUFC really is affecting my love for the game as a whole to be honest. Never ever thought I'd see a day where I considered fucking football off, I'm not close to that point yet but just being a fucking neutral is such a grim thought.
  11. Didn't MK Dons want a loan back deal from whoever bought him? Yup.
  12. Will most likely be the act that breaks me as well.
  13. Of course it won't majority of matchgoers don't frequent message boards and basically "go to the match". NUFC today is light-years better than it has been in the past, even with Ashley's constraints. I was just popping in to say the rate at which the club's stature has dwindled the last 7 years is quite frightening. Really are a nothing club now, and we weren't before. Indeed, the crazy thing is it's by design and he's got away without scot free without any reproach from the media. truly abhorrent stuff.

  15. Lennon going to Everton according to the Beeb. He will do well if he Martinez puts his arm around him and makes him his first choice player.
  16. You are one of my favourite posters on here you know that but it really is that simple. He has a choice, grow the fuck up get on with it or flounce off like a cry baby and just give up. If he just quits all he succeeds in doing is proving his army of doubters right. ] What if he wants to quit football? It's not that simple at all, you've no idea what he's thinking about, that's how you view it, thats up to you. he's a different person to you. Sorry mate he's behaving like a child. I wish I were in a position to be able to quit what I'm doing at 27 and just give it up. He's weak mentally and it's showing now. Stop letting your bias cloud your judgement, if he wanted to quit football why sign for Nice in the first place? Nah. I'm just looking at it from an alternate angle. Your not in his position are you, thats the salient point isn't it? I cbf to debate it really, its anyone's choice if they want to quit. I'd assume this is just a power play from his lawyer anyway Powerplay against who? Fifa? Like Fifa give a single fuck about Hatem Ben Arfa or his lawyer.

  18. Djurcic (Lad from Benfica we were after a couple of years ago) has joined Southampton on Loan according to the Beeb.

  20. I know this is completely unlikely but is their any possibility that he could use our good players until January at NUFC and then loan them to rangers for a second half of the season tilt to the champions league?
  21. Going to get flack for this comment but: Grow up Hatem man, enjoy your 6 month holiday and prove all those doubters wrong, don't just flounce off like a cry baby.
  22. Villa in talks to sign Lambert according to the BBC. That dream didn't last long.
