  1. A central midfield of Colback Tiote and Anita is fucking grim. Picture 6 months of that.
  2. I can't see Arsenal paying 25 million for him. They'd only pay 12 million for Cabaye so Imagine them paying double that and then some for Sissoko
  3. Nailed it. Anything SanToon clings on to is 100% hipstery Shots fired
  4. Reckon the plight of the overly monied Premier League does more so for me I think. But then again I absolutely love the Champions League so I'm a massive hyprocrite in that sense. Reckon I'm more apathetic to who takes the spoils, ourselves included, than I ever have been n all bar Sunderland, Mourinho (dislike) and Wenger (love). My main issue would be if I got too apathetic with football my interests would be severely limited. I keep telling myself I won't make time for football like I used to. I then come to a realisation that football has been such a big part of my life I'm at a complete loose end when I try to do other things.
  5. Doesn't the plight of NUFC make any of you gentleman apathetic to football in general? It's hurting my love for the game.
  6. WAT. In my opinion a team who are expected to be fighting relegation shouldn't sack their manager after losing to Man Utd away, especially when they are only 3 points away from safety. If they had lost to a team in and and around the relegation zone then fair enough, but you can't say to the manager that he needs to get a result from Man Utd away to keep his job especially when survival is still a realistic possibility. The gift that keeps on giving.
  7. Ooo look at me, I endorse and enjoy the new found corporate nature of football. I also love Red Bull Salzburg. Disgusting. Disco patter ©

Given the absolute dross we have in midfield I would. I don't think Sissoko, de Jong, Colback and Anita are dross, personally. I think colback and Anita are if you ever want to achieve anything that is. As for De Jong I don't care him as a central midfielder which leaves us with just Moussa.

  10. I can this is our Modus operandi as well.
  11. Such as the North East media and John Carver
  12. I've got a lot of respect for Arsenal.
  13. Santi has such beautiful technique man.
  14. Wouldn't make a difference we'd just get 6 shitter teams in return. Too many clubs with the "we can't compete mantra"

I'm trying to stay as glass-half-full as possible, so I'm not going to say anything negative about a 3-0 victory away from home. I want to give Carver a clean slate (I think others should try to, too, for their own sanity, difficult though it would be). That's a very promising game and I badly want another six points from the next two games. Clean slate yorkie? Are we completely disregarding his pathetic show in the cup? 4 mysterious injuries and all Carver can f*** off, yesterday was more luck than judgement. All of our goals came from outside the area ffs, does anyone remember us actually creating anything? ayoze had two chances off the top of my head. The header in the first half sure. Would call it a half chance though personally. Can't remember the other one. got in front of the centre half, hit it at the keeper. cabella also played sissoko in but he tried to cross, not sure why he didn't strike it. You know its slim pickings when your counting the sissoko one he was in a load of space and should have done better, it was a chance no? I suppose 3 chances of note isn't exactly a flood though.

  18. I do really like him but I do worry what'll happen when teams start to identify him as our dangerous player. They will double up and he'll struggle again. It will create space for other players but knowing us we won't take advantage of it.
  19. There wouldn't be any posts if we had that shit.

    Sammy Ameobi

Id only give him a new contract due to the likelihood of not replacing him.
  22. He doesn't. Not ideally suited to citehs style of play though.
  23. Tim Vickery on World Football Phone-In always goes on about how the Brazilian football system has changed dramatically over the years and that's it actually become more English in nature. More emphasis on producing physical, 'jack-of-all-trades' players who can run for days, less so on producing the flair players we traditionally associate with the country. Ahhhh, that's why Germany whipped them.
