That fake limp. 100% a foul though.
-
Need to see a replay of that.

We don't have one. JT is responsible for them though.

Brunos lack of pace is so evident in these open games.
-
Fuck off colwil.
-
Ohhh that could be bad mind.
-
Fofana or Wilson who is made out of the more fragile glass?
-
That has to be a yellow for fofana.
-
Got away with it although defence has been exposed 3 times in 2 minutes.
-
Tactics look spot on so far.
-
Oh dear.
-
He gives us that threat on the counter which Barnes isn't quite able to imo.

Gordon missing is huge. Had very little confidence going in to this now have zero. Why am I going to watch this?

Who are the vampires?

I think it's becoming increasingly obvious that we value British players and premier league highly, probably higher than anyone else in the league. How you interpret this is up to you mind.
-
Because we can't and that's what the rules have been designed to do. It's why a new stadium is so important.

On a sentimental level I agree, realistically though I don't. In order to bridge the gap but us than those clubs with more revenue we have to grow faster than them. A slow build just leads to us falling further and further behind. It's why champions league is important for us we simply need more revenue streams so we can progress if not stagnating / regression is our future. We felt that injection of investment at the start but now it's wearing off as we've got close to our ffp allowance.

A lot of folks have more objections to the Saudis buying us mind. Not sure what it has to do with his position in the independent regulator and PL's stance. You can be against our takeover on moral grounds and also believe the PL is a racket. In fact I'd say most on here feel that way
-
Kieran Maguire has always held this position I thought?
-
Aye, this is the crux of it. I think a few folks posted at the time as well that another player who wants to cut in front the left shouldn't be a priority. No reflect on Barnes on his ability.
-
I think due to fear of them not being replaced we don't have to be so anxious, unless the direction of travel suddenly changes. We should certainly be enjoying the players we have whilst they are here.

Mbeumo is a really interesting one. On paper it seems great, proven performer who is ready to take the next step. The question I do have is he the player who is going to be affective against low blocks? can he score and create? Also if true, are we willing and able to pay the good old premier league tax?

Fair fair, I see that. Let's see how this plays out as I'm not convinced Bird has a clue.
