Now look up some of our other attackers and compare. This is great for the price
-
Actually not worth it to sell him imo. His output is great for price.

Not going to knock the club for this I doubt we were actually in for him. -
Think we need quite a bit given the age profile and contract status of some squad players. I imagine we lose at least2 purples that need replacing as well.

We folded in the worst possible way, it's only being mitigated by his injury and his awful start. Anyways less said about the rat the better. Cunt of the highest order. -
Your right, we should be going in to every game with the desire to win. That being said pragmatism is also needed. The worst case scenario which we've seen plenty of is playing players who are knackered, them getting injured and us losing both the game and important players. Rotation is needed in this game, doesn't provide excuses or cover for not giving it our all though.

I agree, Wood was a flop he didn't perform however the amount we lost on him was minimal so it's not really worth much discussion. Plus let's not pretend like you don't take the same approach when discussing your lot.

They are. We also have to wait for the glutens to finish feeding before it's our turn as well. -
No point comparing us to Man united when speaking with Froggy absolutely waste of time.
-
Couldn't be further from the truth. 29yo with one 20+ goal a season. Brentford play a different style and don't come up against teams who defend deep either. We probably had to give him a 4 year deal so we lose a year of amortisation of that daft fee making it even more expensive If we take a step back and think about it. wissa was a result of poor planning/execution.
-
Wissa was desperate times called for desperate measures.
-
We should have tried harder to fine value in the market instead of paying the premiums we paid. Especially as we are crying poor again.

I'm assuming we are subsidising that loan as well. -

So do we believe his agent? Anyways I think we all knew the writing was on the wall regarding this one.
-
Even if we are (we arent) we have to do it in a world cup year after waiting for the big fish to feed and this will be led by Ross Wilson at best who has a very mixed track record. Idk about you but I'm not looking forward to the summer at all.
-
Doesn't change a thing and I'm really astounded people actually believe it He had a contract with us and was promised a new one by someone who had long since left the building. The project stalled and he wanted out. He clearly doesn't view contracts as worth the paper they are written on so I've got no idea why some people believe a newer sheet of paper would have made any difference. Tldr hes a massive cunt.
-
You believe we have no issues with Isak if we offer him a new contract? btw he did get offered once this summer and declined. And please don't make me defend mitchell ffs, but anyone in his position would have left when he obviously didn't have any power. Imagine saying what he said and then signing off pissing 55m on Elanga and 50m and Wissa. Get real man.

It's a worst outcome than having Targertt at LB imo. especially considering Schars out for awhile, Jammy is being sent away, Krafth is a sick note as it Botman. It's a gamble and one we don't need to take.
-
Fair enough on some of these points. with regards to Isak, players come and go all the time, it shouldn't have had such an impact imo, Brentford lost much more than we've done and have somehow managed. We knew he wanted to leave after the cup we had plenty of time to come up with something we managed it poorly imo and are lucky hes been both shit and a crock as it would have felt even worst. With Eales, he's the CEO essential running the business operation, his absence is a bit overblown imo, I don't look at it and think our window would have been much different if he was around. Given the level of spend and the output we've seen so far the window isn't a disaster, it's an absolute catastrophe, that may change in the future but as of now its an unmitigated disaster so much PSR heardroom has been pissed away.
-
Protect hall by sacrificing our ability from our left flank :anguish: I love bdb but I do not want to see him trot out at left back.
-
Club line, he left because Eales did Anyone with a functioning brain, he lost the power struggle.

I'm curious, who's fault was the summer transfer window?
