Cabaye should just put out a statement at this stage stating what his intentions are.
-
IF this is true (something more than "the chronicle understands" would be good then Cabaye is a disgrace and should be transfer listed at the value of 20million pounds and be left to rot.

Serious Q: For those screaming "Pardew Out" and "the man is a joke". What could he have done differently today? How is he to blame? #NUFC

@Ammy_TF Need a bit of perspective. AP is easy target, and he didn't do much wrong today in my view.

Some of our fans are thick as fuck.

I can't even bring myself to get annoyed about things anymore and certainly not individual players. Every single one has had their confidence drained on a daily basis and all their strengths coached out of them.
Right and then we compare to clubs like Liverpool who have a manager with a philosophy and picks his side accordingly. We totally lack this every week we just throw 11 players on the pitch and hope for a miracle, it's a disgrace frankly.

Mick Lowes was being very critical today, said he was just returning the ball to whoever give him it all the time and not wanting to run at his marker.
I'd be more interested in the opinion of someone with some football knowledge. Mick Lowes would probably be a good listen if you wanted info about pies and darts.
Mick Lowes the same man that kisses Pardew's ass day in and day out and does nothing but toe the official line.

If we fail to beat Fulham he'll just get booed again. What's the point?
Personally speaking i feel it's important we express our dissatisfaction.
Be nice to do it like men instead of bitchy little cowards.
How should we do it then?
At the game is the only chance the fans get to communicate with the club.

He needed benched for this game.
He needed service. He gets f*** all of it.
That's only half the problem though. His hold up play has been discussed at length, but his movement isn't great at the moment and he doesn't look sharp at all. It's easy to blame a lack of creativity from other players, but I don't think he's particularly helping them either with his forward-play.
His play outside the box is rubbish. We were told that when we signed him and we can't expect him to be something he's not. He's a poacher who shouldn't be starting if we don't plan to create chances for him.
He has to actually look for the chances and make runs though, at the same time. He can't expect to just stand in the 18 yard box and have our creative players not only find him with a pass or a cross, but also completely remove any defenders that are marking him on his behalf. He's static as hell at the moment.
He always goes too early, As soon as we get the ball he's off making a run hence all the offsides.
The biggest problem we have is he doesn't drop into space and turn and run at the opposition either and because he's not quick we can't just play it down the flanks for him to chase.

Those saying we looked good defensively would do well to remember WH should've scored at least twice.
And have no creativity through the middle and a striker who is average at best.
I can't comprehend Pardew's defensive system.
We don't close down and we don't get tight, always leaves me scratching my head.
We can have zero creativity through the middle if we have good wingers. Anita and Sissoko today played well enough already and shouldn't be asked for much more. It is our wingers and strikers that are the problems.
Not with the strikers we have we can't.

This and to be honest poacher have no place in the modern game.

Newcastle boss Alan Pardew: "We had to dig-in after Man City and show resilience. Defensively we couldn't have put in a better performance."
That just sums him up. He's a grade A coward.
Aye he soon ran down the tunnel once the full time whistle was blown.

A very tidy player yes, but never stands out IMO, always seems to tick over nicely without really creating or having a massive influence on the match.
That was his role at Ajax, To cover the space left behind by attacking forwards/Midfielders and to recycle possession.

I agree lads Cabaye will be flogged and replaced in January...
It leaves us at the mercy of:
Pardew's shit team selections and injuries.
Personally i don't rate Gosling or Bigi I can see Jonas being reinvented as a central midfielder once Cabaye goes.
-
Disappointed not to get the win. What planet does this man live on.
You have to create chances to win games Alan.
-
Why not play all 3?
Anita
Cabaye Moussa.
Our best midfield imo.
-
Pretty much the same as most home performances last year. We've seemingly learnt little and worked on nothing.
Thought people are being a bit harsh on Debuchy. Wins as many headers as I've ever seen a 'proper' full-back and gets so little cover from the midfield it's unreal. Yeah he got done for pace once or twice but didn't think it was a particularly bad performance.
Debuchy had a sold game for me.
Jarvis beat him a couple of times but that's to be expected imo.

So tired of the last minute hail marys.
We look like a team bereft of confidence to me.
-
If we do sign Gomis, it would have to be Gomis and Remy together. Cisse and Shola are just awful right now.
We aren't signing anyone.
-
Marv did ok for a guy who was basically benched all pre season.
-
Have we even had a shot on target?
-
Booing on the first home game of the season.
I think the tide is turning for Pardew.

It's depressing, Southampton have Osvaldo and Ramirez on the bench,
I guess that explains why they are losing
Yohan Cabaye retires

That's what i thought as well.
Interesting timing too, I wonder if anything would have been said if we'd have won today?
