  1. This isn't a serious post is it? Why not? If they had Aguero up tops for them they'd walk it. Disagree personally, but I appreciate your viewpoint.

  3. Cech is a fantastic goalkeeper no doubt but it will take more than that to make Arsenal genuine title contenders.
  4. Unless Cech's form or fitness has deteriorated badly, that's an incredibly good move for Arsenal. One that could make them champions. I'm really surprised that Chelsea are letting him go to a close rival. They aren't that close of a rival and wont win the league.
  5. I think the closest we will get to this is Austin.
  6. Some ambitious names being mentioned in here
  7. Given the regression in all our goalkeepers and the fact he's the one that trains them tells me it is pretty important we get shut asap. It will happen. They are just trying for compo. I cant see the compensation even being 100k for a GK coach. The issue has nothing to do with compo and everything to do with woodmans son. Woodman would have left with Pardew if it wasn't for his son being under contract.

  9. Can we get steele in ffs. Fat Mike must be moving this Derbys coaching staff for free
  10. fyp Naaa we will sign someone who is mediocre and the Chronicle will spin it as some major transfer coup.
  11. All this and we will end up with some riviere mark 2
  12. We can be a stopgap for him. Have one good season and prove you can do it in a top league and then be sold to a bigger club. Everyone wins particularly if bigger clubs don't want to take the gamble.
  13. Aye, can't wait to sign a load of championship failures
  14. and his agent Of course but then again I don't hate agents
  15. It's a fantastic deal, instead of paying a transfer fee to Marseille they've paid it to Ayew.

    Steve McClaren

Lol imagine the paltry wages we are offering
  17. Yup don't rate him at all personally.
  18. They only want our money. If they actually wanted any sort of positive change they wouldn't have appointed McClaren.
  19. Has mulensteen been linked? That would be a terrific appointment if so.
  20. Didnt Douglas say Gomis wanted an obscene signing fee of £5m plus £50k a week to come here? They dont seem to mind paying silly amounts to players when it suits. Really cant see how we can say Ayew wasnt worth the money if it was within our budget, its not like we are renowned for preferring to pay bigger fees.... He was free though and if they believed he was a top class striker the money they'd have to spend on transfer fees alone would more than cover his demands. All that happens with free transfers is a shift of money from club to players
  21. Peanuts relatively and knowing us probably includes wages too

    Steve McClaren

Smoke and mirrors, we've just hired a manager who was sacked by a championship side 2 weeks ago

    Steve McClaren

If McClaren performs to the expected standard (doesn't get the club relegated) he has a job for life. Exactly the same as Alan Pardew did really.

    Lee Charnley

So the club has no finance director in the same manner sports direct hasn't for the last 18 months. Never misses a trick Mike
